The treatments were done as promised with results that I would describe as acceptable, but not a match for the more expensive Trugreen treatments. With Evergreen we seem to have more weeds and crabgrass, which I assume is a function of the effectiveness of the chemicals being applied. Evergreen uses a motorized ride-on applicator with wide tires that seem to prevent some of the grass from being treated, whereas Trugreen uses a hose system applicator that is pulled around by the technician - more laborious but also more effective in terms of coverage in my opinion. We're reluctant to go back to Trugreen due to the high cost, but we are not satisfied with the quality of the Evergreen service after one season of being a customer.

The owner comes out six times a year. He will also come back if it rains after a treatment has been applied and retreat the entire lawn. He does offer a discount if the year is paid in full during the winter months.
