We had no air and it was extremely hot out it was reading over 90 in our house. Within an hour of calling for service the technician arrived. It was determined our a/c needed replaced, which was not a surprise since we were told last summer by another HVAC company that our unit needed replaced. The tech went over the units they had to offer we picked out one and thought they would come back out on Monday or at a later date to install but to our amazement after the tech spoke with the owner, the tech went to get the new unit and returned with another tech to install our a/c. Both technician's were very polite and professional. We were extremely happy with the service and could not thank the installers enough. We will definitely be calling Crews Heating and Cooling for any future needs.

It went very well- I was pleased with their fast response time and that they had the parts they needed to repair my furnace. I've had appliances break down and the repairman had to leave the job and run to the store. These guys were more professional and he everything they needed.

It went EXCELENT! They were professional and friendly. Came on time and got the job done right! They were able to answer all of my questions. When I called to get an estimate I was greeted in a friendly manor. The whole process was great. I will definitely be passing their name around to my family and friends! I called all around town and I am happy to say I made the right choice.

I'm upgrading my report somewhat. Crew's was the installer for my Sears purchase of a Carrier furnace. There have been problems with getting my older AprilAir humidifier working with the furnace. The latest go-around has "solved" the problem, but not very professionally. Basically, it's "rigged" such that it works. I have a powered AprilAir humidifier. It takes a 110 volt connection off of the furnace. Such that, when the blower is powered, the humidifier is powered. The Carrier Infinity 96 that I purchased only has a 110 volt connection for the electronic air cleaner. The humidifier connection is 24 volt. Well, they've "rigged" the humidifier off of the air cleaner connection. So now it is only powered when the furnace blower is on. Huge disconnect between Sears, Crews. Avoid them both.

My Heil furnace wasn't coming on so I contacted Crews Heating & Cooling because my mother had used them in the past for furnace checkups. The repairman was prompt. I showed him the furnace & told him the issue. He moved wires, checked suction in tubes, and after that... he was clueless. He said he didn't know a lot about Heil furnaces but there are only so many parts that could be the issue. He started cutting wires & hot wiring to see if he could find the issue. He finally had to call his office & came back & said I needed a new ignitor & assembly. I told him I had issues similar to this when I had a thermostat issue... but he said the ignitor had to be the problem. He had to order the part from a distributor of Heil parts & it would cost me around $350. I told him to go ahead. He returned the next week to install the parts and when he was done... the blower wouldn't shut off. He said there was only ONE part that had to be the issue but since it was Saturday, he'd have to get a price on Monday. He said the part would be around $100. He also said he talked with his office & they would deduct the cost of all the parts from the price of a new furnace ( $2400 ). I said if it can only be one other part for $100... it wouldn't make sense to get a whole new furnace. After he left, I went to the hardware store & purchased a new thermostat. I replace the wiring from the new thermostat to the furnace. It all worked without leaving the blower running. I noticed he had taken the 'bad' parts he replaced when he was at the house & when he called on Monday with the estimate, I asked him to return the parts. He said he was glad it worked and would return the 'bad' parts. I haven't seen the parts and wonder if he isn't returning them because there was no issue. Without the 'bad' parts, I can't prove it was the thermostat the whole time. The repairman should have told me up front he couldn't maintain this brand of furnace instead of taking stabs in the dark. They tried to sell me a new furnace because, as it turns out, the thermostat was bad. The $100 part turned out to be close to $200. Luckily, I didn't need it. I will never call this company again for service & will warn my family and friends against it also.
