Couldn't of gone any smoother! They were the only co. to come out! They charged us half the quote! They were on time! So professional! When we need a new roof I will be calling Buxton!

For the main part of the roof, it seemed to go just fine. However, there were a couple of things that were done not to agreement that had to be redone. They didn't remove a soil pipe. That was fixed quickly. They installed soffit too low for me to install my new windows on the back side of the house. The repair of this mistake took until the following season and many, many calls. They also did not redeck a flat section that needed it, and installed rolled roofing on it that had folds and rolls in it. I tore off the roof, reframed at a steeper pitch and redecked it. They were to, per agreement, just redo the surface. While I have to say that the two young men who came out on a Sunday morning absolutely busted their butts getting the agreed repairs done, the material they put back on, once again, has rolls and folds in it. Plus, it is two different colors. And, it took weeks for them to respond to get it done. So, I and a friend are going to redo it AGAIN next summer ourselves. Additionally, there are a couple places on the main roof where they laid the shingles through a valley too tight and elevated the shingle, creating a gap under it. To me, this is not minor. So, what started off as a promising experience resulted in me not being able to recommend the company. They were second-least expensive, but I chose them because of their seeming professionalism based on dealing with my original sales rep. Unfortunately, their lack of communication and inability to properly address some minor and moderate issues (took one year) soured me on them. When we add our addition next year, I'll be looking to someone else to complete the roof.

Every aspect of the job went as I expected it would, and as they stated. I was very pleased with their work.

After quite a delay due to weather, they arrived promptly and worked hard. A one day job turned into a two day job due to rotten wood but they completed it with professionalism. Removing the wood caused a lot of sawdust and dirt to fall inside the garage so they removed EVERYTHING, blew all the dirt out and then replaced EVERYTHING where it had been. The guys were very nice and addressed my concerns about drainage, gutters and more. A few days later, they called to see how everything went and promptly came out to see a concern that I had. They are working to address it now.

I have no complaints.  They were top-notch.  Everyone was very professional from the sales person to the installers to the office. A little more expensive than the others. So happens neighbor was getting a roof the same day from another company. The difference in how the job was done was obvious.

John came out and helped with a dormer leaking. Very professional and knowledgable about his trade. When we go to have our roof replaced Buxton is who we will have do it!

My parents had died and their house was going on the market. The roof was an issue and we called
Buxton to do an evaluation. They were up front, honest and to the point.
They even suggested we get a second opinion if we were undecided.
We hired them and they were on time and did all work as promised.

The contractor had to wait until the weather was acceptable. As soon as the weather was good, they came and finished the job. Communication was good and the project was completed acceptably.

They were fine. They were helpful in helping us decide what we needed for the roof and the different options that we had. They were professional in their work. They gave us the time and days they would be here to do the work. We haven't had any problems with the roof. We would recommend them totally.

Buxton was reliable, true to what they said... they even came back to the house twice when we had questions about the roof said they would continue to come back to always make sure we were happy. Great, great, great.

Will definitely be calling them when we have roofing needs.

A little pricey, but you do get what you pay for. After calling every number in the phone book to have my roof replaced, these guys are the most friendly, knowledgeable and professional company. From the first phone call to get a quote to the end of construction. During construction their attention to detail is unmatched because the entire crew took such great pride in their work. Everything was hassle free.

From the start I was sat down and explained the difference in the bottom line quote prices, which did not later include and quot;nickle and dimeand quot; extras. I asked if they could cut a new bathroom vent and replace a couple old ones while they had the shingles off. They had no problem doing the work, but to save cost to me, they asked me to grab the parts (that they described in detail) at my local hardware store instead of using their parts at a mark-up. They painted the drain-waste-vents to match the new roof and completed all flashing to match. Really an impeccable job, I have already had several complements from my neighbors on how great it looks.

Simply put, these guys are the best at what they do.

The work turned out great. They did a wonderful job. The people that worked on the roof were skilled and knew what they were doing. They took pride in their work. They had all workers on the ground at all times. They protected the shrubs and so forth from getting damaged. If there was a problem they took care of it. Everything that was thrown down to the ground, the ground crew cleaned up pretty much as they went along. They took care of it. The people on the ground did not do any work on the roof. They were clearly separated. I was here when they were doing the work, so I could see the division of labor. They originally said it would take five days, but the weather was cool. They said they would come out at 7:30 in the morning, and they did. They were going to stop around three o'clock, but it was such a nice day that they stayed until seven o'clock at night working on the roof. They finished the job in three days. They were prompt and came out when they said they would. They gave us an estimate when we said we wanted the roof done. We signed a contract. They said it would be about three weeks before they got the job done. It took them only two weeks to get the job done. Once they came they finished it in three days. They did a nice job and made sure that we were happy with everything. The owner of the company as well as the manager of the project came over when it was completely done. They walked around the house with us and pointed out different things that they had done. They made sure that we were happy with the color and the workmanship. They pointed out some of the advantages of the roof and that sort of thing. They have a commercial division that just works on commercial properties and a residential division that just works on residential properties. They have managers for each of those divisions. They have expertise in both areas, and that's nice.
