My experience with them has been mixed. Their repair was great but I just had a terrible time with their office staff. They were supposed to order a part for me for my furnace repair and they didn't - I had to call in about that. They kept putting off my appointment and when the part came in, they didn't know it and months went by and nobody was coming out. So to put the part on the furnace I had to call them over and over again. But as far as the repairman, they are good, but getting him out here and dealing with the office people was very difficult. The actual repairman that came here was very good; he was professional, he did a good job repairing it, and he cleaned up everything. I'd give him an excellent review. But the office people, working with them to get that repairman out here, I would not give them a good review.

The compressor unit on my AC quit running. Barley's came out the next day. They diagnosed, explained and repaired the problem, and checked out the condition of my compressor within 20 minutes. I was only charged for a service call. They were very professional and didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. After all of the horror stories you see on TV about dishonest repairmen, you never know who you can trust. Barley's demonstrated that they are trustworthy. The next time I have a problem, I will be calling them again.

THEY MAYED ALOT OF ATTEMPTS TO GET OLD PUMP TO WORK. IT WAS UNSUCESSFUL. COMPANY DID APPLY ANY MONIES SPENT ON REPAIR OF THE OLD HEAT PUMP TO THE NEW ONE. DON'T THINK TO MANY COMPANIES WOULD DO THIS. WE HAD A FEW CANCELATIONS DUE TO OTHER JOBS THAT TOOK LONGER DUE THEN EXPECTED. REPAIRMEN WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND DID CLEAN UP AFTER THE JOB.

As stated above, everything went great and I'd use them again and recommend them to anyone. They know what they are doing.

My water heater developed a leak. When I called Barley, they set up an appointment time that satisfied my schedule. When they arrived, they assessed the situation, recommending the water heater be replaced. I accepted their recommendation since it was an old water heater. They replaced the water heater the next day. There were no problems with the installation.
The price charged for the new water heater (and its installation) was the agreed upon price.

All went really well. I'd called for a check up for our A/C because we'd moved into the house 4 years previously and had not had anything checked. At the very least we thought the filters may need changed. It is a separate unit, installed in the attic. Two men came, on time and spent an hour checking both the A/C and our gas fired/boiler furnace. Everything checked out well and gave us peace of mind. They were both very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain both systems and what they were checking. Will definitely call them if service is needed for either system.

They took out the old one and replaced it. They gave me personal service at a very good price. The job went very well and the furnace is working well.
