They installed the cylinder where I wanted it, six weeks and three phone conversations after i ordered it.  Im not hard to deal with, all I asked for was that they use threaded pipe inside my basement, provided a wall penetration kit and, installed a "T" fitting for future considerations.

I was charged $4/foot for the underground part of the installation.  this was about 30 feet through my backyard.  What I got was one guy with a shovel that scratched a 3 inch deep ditch through the grass.  Then they didnt cover it very well.

I had to explain to these people what a wall penetration kit was several times.  the heating contractor knew exactly what i meant.  Basically it is a 1.25" plastic pipe that goes through the exterior wall of the house, the gas line is installed through this larger pipe and it is sealed on the inside of the wall.  these guys hammered 3 feet of 1.25" PVC( 6" was all that was required), and then sealed it on the outside.

They used 3 pieces of pipe and 2 couplings on a 4 foot straight run in my basement.  this isnt a real big deal but, for what i was charged this could have been one piece of pipe.

The pipe wasnt secured very well.  they used conduit clamps and drywall screws.

I dont know if any other company would do this better but, if I had known what I was going to get, I would have done the work myself.
