Initially, I was very excited to get to work with Chuck after speaking with him on the phone and texting. i was referred to him by a well know design firm in the community. We're remodeling our home for the first time and haven't had a smooth process, to say the least. The day of our appointment with Chuck we walked through the house, as I have multiple rooms that we're remodeling and wanted to finish with wallpaper, and I began to get a strange vibe, in fact I said multiple times that since we were meeting for the first time I apologized that I didn't really get his sense of humor. An example- my husband is on crutches and Chuck asked him to give him a hand with his supplies. Not only was he making strange comments but he has strange mannerisms including winking after each snarky comment. So, as we made our way into the bathroom it became clear that my contractor was running behind and when I communicated to  Chuck that we might want to either rescheduling or push back our appointment to later in the day he became extremely upset. He not only raised his voice and threatened me but when I told him he was making me uncomfortable with the conversation he became more defensive. When we got back into my house I started to cry from the conflict. I told him I didn't know if we were going to be able to work together.
I stepped back and took a breath. I calmly re-approached him and asked him what he thought we should do. I've always been told that the wallpaper was the last thing that should be done in a room. My contractor hadn't finished cleaning out the grout and sanding the room and actually told me he wish he had worn his "get dirty" work clothes. I felt cornered into having to say yes. So, Chuck proceeded to wallpaper the room. I made the best of the situation and let him work. The over wallpaper job that Chuck did was decent. It took him about twice as long as he quoted. 
After Chuck left he contacted our Drywall Company, who were scheduled to come the next day, and convinced them to cancel their verbal work agreement with us because of how "difficult i was to work with"! This stopped the progress on my home costing me hundreds of dollars in work time. We're now stopped and searching for another company that can start ASAP. So, between the horrific treatment, the verbal assault, and then to have stopped or home remodeling progress I would ABSOLUTELY NOT WORK WITH CHUCK. Not only is he very strange but his malicious. I am half tempted to send him a bill for the damage he's done, unnecessarily, to my home remodeling. TAKE MY ADVICE DON'T CALL CHUCK!

He was very accommodating, detail oriented, and helpful.

Chuck removed wallpaper from 2 bathrooms and prepped them for paint. He was professional, friendly, and fair. His price was the best of the 3 I checked. I would recommend Chuck to my friends.

Chuck was very prompt and professional. I had gotten 3 quotes for wallpaper removal and his seemed the most fair. He was thorough and friendly. I would recommend Chuck to my friends.
