I work at a wedding venue that MasterMix is at often. I get the pleasure (or not) of comparing different D.J's and their styles. Without a doubt, hands down, after over 2 years of weddings and vendors almost every single weekend, MasterMix is THE BEST! Not just the best D.J, the best vendor that walks though our door. We all know that when MasterMix pulls up its going to be a BLAST!! I have never heard anything from his customers except for how over the top pleased they are! Mike and his team are the best out there!

At a late date I requested a photographer to take a picture of our Christmas tree, thinking this would not be possible to do. I wanted a professional quality picture. Within a couple of hours I was talking with Wayne. He arrived the following morning and I have a disc of the most beautiful pictures! All of them professional quality! This will be a family treasure for years to come.

I have been working with Mike Walker, the owner, for the past 1 1/2 years planning my daughter's wedding. I am the wedding planner as well and unfortunately disabled. It takes me a lot longer time to get things done and lots of patience because of my various disabilities. Right from the beginning when I started working with Mike he reassured me that everything would be setup early, be very professional, and that all the details and requests we wanted would be taken care of. I think what stood out for me when we first met was that his goal is for every seat to be empty because they are dancing, and that the 85ish year old grandparents would be up there too. Boy did he ever deliver....and then some. Since we employed both the DJ and Photobooth, I will review each.
Dj....Mike was our DJ. First class all the way. He made lots of promises and kept every one of them and well beyond that too. He had each and every person up on the dance floor ranging from 1 yr. old to the 90+ year old grandparents. We wanted somethong unique and special with a prize during the reception and he recommended a dance with married couples only, and the couple married the longest wins a prize. He started eliminating them every 5 years until the only ones left were married 62 and 64 years...it was so special and as it went along, everyone was clapping and the last ones were the bride and groom's grandparents. The winner won a botttle of champagne that we provided. It was very special and appreciated by all. The music Mike played all night was absolutely perfect. It was uniquely fit for all ages and the dance floor was packed all night. We couldnt ask for a better Dj. In fact, my 78 yr old Dad went up to Mike and told him that in all his years he has never seen a DJ better than him that engages everyone and has a great personality. My Dad hosts events for Hospice and Am. Cancer Society, so he has seen a lot. We will definitely use him again for our other 2 children's weddings and other events.
It was also great to have the Photobooth owned by the DJ Mike. The Photobooth was also amazing. The attendant (i believe his name was Wallace) was so professional and quick to make sure every person received a copy of their picture and also taped each pic in our memory book so each person could write something to the bride and groom.....this was such an awesome keepsake and was suggested by Mike to pick up the memory book. They also gave us a dvd at the end of the night of each person that visited the Photobooth. It was so funny and another great keepsake. I am amazed at the patience and first class service we received from the attendant. We had 479 pics! All unlimited pics with a copy for ea. person in the picture plus a duplicate for us...what a deal. It was a huge hit by all the guests and bride and groom. The props were great too. Overall, I highly recommend Mike and his company at MasterMix for any event...they will make it the most fun, exciting, organized and memorable wedding or event ever. I can't thank them enough for making my daughter's and new son's dreams come true for an outstanding wedding. Words are not enough for the appreciation my husband and I have for making me feel comfortable in knowing that he was in control of everything and the confidence I had that he would make this wedding awesome.

It was great. They asked for an electrical outlet and did the rest themselves. They provided great feedback on location of the photobooth as well. The were here promptly and the set up was quick and speedy. They were patient and professional in fulfilling requests from guests. We wanted 10 people in the photobooth and they made it possible. They did not rush us at the end of the session and allowed us to take full advantage of the time that we paid for. We would defiantly recommend them. I would take it over a do it yourself photobooth any day.

The owner Mike Walker is the one who came out to DJ our party. He had a very limited time frame to get all his gear set up and ready, which he did with no issue. I cant really say enough good things about our experience. First off youll notice his very pleasing and charming baritone voice. Second his gear is top shelf. Im sure he could have blasted the doors off the place, but during all of the first dance, father daughter dance etc. The volume was at a level where everyone could enjoy the music, but could still hold a conversation without shouting. The mix that he played was absolutely perfect. Young and old, my guests were coming up to me all night telling me how much they were enjoying the DJ. He took all requests, played them promptly and keep my bride dancing until her feet hurt! I highly recommend Master Mix DJ for any event, they will make sure that it is an experience you wont soon forget! My new wife just laughed at me because she said as I was typing this, I had the biggest smile on my face. Do yourself and all your guests a huge favor, hire Master Mix DJ for your next party, reception, anniversary, or reunion. I know I will!

Mike arrived early, set up his equipment before the ceremony which was great. He was very pleasant to everyone and made our daughter's wedding very nice with the soft music for dinner and fun music for all the dancing.

My son was married September 1, 2012. They were married at Church of the Master in Westerville and ther eception was at the Lake Country Club in Westerville.
Master Mix D.J. did the whole package for the wedding. DJ, photo booth and pictures. They had the best prices in the area. They were the only company that has unlimited time for all services. The photo booth was a lot of fun! They could fit 12-15 people in their booth. Everyone got photo strips for great memories! Master Mix was easy to work with, easy to contact, very professional, and the quality of pictures was fantastic! The DJ kept the wedding moving along and organized, we danced all night long! I would recommend The Master Mix to all the people I know. I have 2 more sons who are not married yet but when they are married I will be using Michael Walker the Master Mix DJ!! Call him today!!!

Michael has been the DJ of choice not only for my wedding, but also all of my sibilings. He is very quick to respond to phone calls and was very professional to work with. He knew what kind of music to play to get everyone out on the dance floor and keep them there!! The photo booth was also a blast. It was nice that the guests were able to take a copy with them as well as a copy to put in a photo album. Numerous guests commented on what a good DJ he was, and I would definitely recommend MasterMix

They were there very early to ensure everything was set up and ready to go at the start time even if there were glitches, which of course there were not, once again. They did an excellent job of reading the crowd playing easy going music early and then getting the dance floor packed later. The provided sound for our program portion and set up the projector and screen for us. When we were speaking the sound was dialed in to maintain the focus of the huge ballroom onto the speaking. This event was over 450 people and went awesome. Feedback from our guests include how willing Master Mix was to accomodate all of their needs, wants and desires. Top notch service once again from Mike and Chris!! Absolutley no complaints and already have them coming back for the next year.

You could not have asked for a more professional process from the initial phone call, signing the contract, the event and follow-up afterwards then what we received from Mastermix. We also dealt with 3 individuals from this organization and ALL three were very friendly, prompt and professional.

I have been working with Mike and Mastermix DJ for 12 years while working for a local banquet and conference center. He and his staff have always been beyond professional and have a great reputations and relationship with past brides. So when it was time to plan my own wedding, I knew I wanted Mastermix DJ. We met in person twice to finalized details, but had multiple phone conversations leading up to our date. About a week before, we had a lengthy phone call going over every detail and song we wanted. He made sure he had every song we wanted, and even bought the ones he didn?t have. He made suggestions here and there, but was never pushy. He made sure that I was happy and got everything we wanted for our wedding and reception music. The day of our wedding, they arrived on time, they were professional, and everything was perfect. They do an excellent job of reading the guests at the wedding and making music selections to keep the dance floor full. One of special requests included one of our groomsmen being able to sing us one of our favorite songs. He has 2 sets of equipment so one was set up outside at our ceremony site and the other inside at the reception. This is nice because there was no break in music and it made the transition between ceremony and reception smoother.
I would recommend the photobooth to everyone! Because our ceremony and reception were in the same place, the bridal party was allowed to sneak in before the ceremony to get in a few goofy shots. The photobooth was open all night except for during food service. So during Hord?s and after dinner there was a line all night! I believe you can get up 10-15 people in their photobooth. They do provide some props, but we brought some of our own also. They print a photo strip for each person in the picture and one extra for us. Mastermix recommended we have a scrapbook where guests can tape in their extra photo strip and write a message to us. This is the best guest book ever! At the end of the night, we also received a cd of all the photos taken that night, which is nice because not all the photos made it into the scrapbook.

I am my daughter's wedding planner. My daughter and I met Mike Walker in Gahanna at an open house for wedding services in March of 2012 . He immediately made us feel welcome and confident in planning the reception for the wedding. He came up with outstanding unique ideas within a few minutes of meeting him. He showed us his reviews and places he worked and the equipment he would be using for our event. It was first class all the way. We took his information and on the way home we were so excited and impressed with him and his company that we called him that evening. After looking at his website, checking all of the outstanding reviews, and most importantly, talking with him again, we booked him for DJ and photobooth. We would have booked his photographer but my daughter is a photographer and has friends that are in the business and will be doing her wedding as a gift.
After almost 1 year of talking, planning and working with him, we are so excited to meet with him in person and finish the final plans. Our overall experience with the Mastermix was great!!!
Rodney and I met them at a Bridal show that we attended at the Veterans Memorial. We went to several booths that offered the same or some similar services. There were none that compared to theirs. They were very professional. Their booth was filled with high energy, and also very welcoming. Before we left the Bridal Show, my husband and I decided that we were going to contact them to set up an appointment.
Our main concern was, would we be able to find someone that could accommodate our need for music outdoors as well as inside.
Our first meeting with Mike, Chris, and Wayne was very productive. They took their time to show us the different servies that they had to offer. They showed us that they have systems for the DJ that would be set up outside as well as having another system already set-up inside the building. They also have and use Bose Speakers. We were pretty much sold at that point.
We decided to use their services, so we set-up appointments with Chris(DJ), and Wayne (Photographer) on different days. Each one of them arrived promptly at the location where we agreed to meet. Promptness was very important to us. That set the tone of how they were going to be on our wedding day.
Our wedding and reception was held at Tall Timbers (located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio). Several days before the wedding rehearsal, we wanted them to come to the venue because my grandson would be riding a horse in our wedding, so we needed them to see what was going to take place on our special day. They arrived and they were on time.
On the day of the wedding, my husband and I were impressed with their dress attire. Our wedding was very elegant and they were in formal dress attire also.
I was so elated when I walked out of the building and heard the song that I was walking down the aisle to. The Bose speakers made a huge difference in how the music sounded. The song was so clear. During the reception, Chris had the guests on the dance floor all evening. He did an excellent job! We are very pleased with the pictures that Wayne had taken. He captured each moment. The photo booth was a hit with our guests. They were able to take as many pictures that they wanted to all evening.
Mastermix and Tall Timbers will work with their customers. It is all about the Bride and Groom and that is where their focus is. Rodney and I would highly recommend the two business as mentioned above.
In closing, I must say, because of Mastermix, and Tall Timbers services our wedding was the talk of 2012.

I met Mike at a wedding open house. He gave me his brochure and we spoke for a few minutes about the services his company offered for wedding receptions. I really liked his professionalism and how easy going he seemed to be. I then spoke with a couple other companies and decided to give Mike a call to see if they were available for the date of our wedding.
I was thrilled he was going to be able to DJ our wedding. He was also very familiar with the venue we had chosen for our wedding and reception. Which turned out to be a bonus for us because he knew exactly how to set up so everything looked and sounded great. He also uses Bose equipment , and everyone knows that is some of the best quality equipment in the business.
We were also able to talk about song choices and arrangements over the phone, which was very convenient for our work schedule. I had chosen a couple songs for the ceremony that Mike didn't have and he made sure he obtained them.
Tracy was the photographer and things started out stressful because Governor Roomey was in town for a presidential campaign and many roads were closed on the way to our venue, thus making his arrival a little late. However, he still was able to keep things calm and obtained some of the most beautiful outdoor pictures of our wedding party .

From beginnig to end both my wife and I were very pleased with the service. Beforehand we met with Mike and his experience shown through immediately and quelled any concerns we had hiring a DJ (this was our first time). He had the ceremony all mapped out in terms of knowing which music to play at what specific times and he was ready with suggestions in case we weren't sure exactly which songs we wanted. We were able to mix our requests for songs with his expertise to come away with exactly the kind of music we wanted. When it came time for the big day, we were pleased to see that Mike was on time and was able to set up his equipment easily. The music came through flawlessly and at one point he even threw in a surprise song for one of the in between moments during the reception and my wife loved it. Everything went according to plan, and my wife and I as well as our guests enjoyed the whole experience.

There were some details that were missed, which was probably part our fault and the companies. The music that was played was excellent and the photo booth was a real blast. The photo booth service was excellent.
