While Dave?s estimate was $4,000 more than we?d budged for (not to mention the ~$5,000 we were out from contractor #1), Dave walked us through the proposal and explained very in-depth for us he he derived at the estimated cost. While the project took longer than originally anticipated, it was well worth the wait! Dave went above and beyond while on-site pointing out things that he?d recommend changing. He also took the time to show us different ways it?d look depending on placement of certain pieces (for example, rail posts) allowing me to select which way I liked it better. In the end, the deck Dave presented us with was EXACTLY what we?d envisioned and contracted for from the beginning. It?s laid out how we wanted it. It?s well-constructed and it?s absolutely beautiful! I cannot begin to tell you how many compliments we?ve received on the deck. Several individuals have requested Dave?s contact information they were so impressed. One will be contacting him in the event they move forward with a room addition ? and another is actively using Dave for a fence project.
