We are a small family owned floor business. We have been in the hardwood floor business, continuously since 1960. "This is all we do," we furnish, lay, sand, and finish hardwood floors. We specialize in repairing and refinishing old hardwood floors and making them look like new again.

Del and his crew do beautiful work (we used Del Bissell, Sr. I believe that his son is also in the business). We had to literally move our of our home during the process, but Del was able to schedule the work while we were on vacation. He also did a couple of test samples of stain on our floor prior to the start of the job. We have two different types of hardwood flooring in our house (red and white oak), and he used two different stain colors to provide a close match. The only setback: Either Del or his assistant accidentally hit our mailbox. I believe that they thought that they fixed it, but we had to replace it. It was old, so we weren't too upset, but I feel like we should have been informed of the incident (we learned of it through a neighbor).
