+ -1 moreWe were really pleased with the painting that the Design Shop did on our house. It looks great. We found them through a mutual friend who owns a construction company. Both the owner, Jeff, and his workers were professional and very courteous, even when they had to work over a waterfall that happens to be by the side of our house and on ladders for the second story. They took care to hold the damage plants to a minimum along the way as well. Of the three bids we got for this project, two were very close and one was way out in left field. Jeff?s bid was very reasonable and I recommend him to you without hesitation. He knew without me having to say a thing that you don?t paint cedar, you stain it where one of the bids from a bigger company wanted to paint the siding. I would recommend the Design Shop to you for this and other projects
Description of Work: Three sides of our house is cedar which started to fade and nothing looks worse than faded gray. Jeff and his crew started on time. They first pressured washed the entire house. Then they painted all of the eaves of the house using a power sprayer which did a wonderful job and finally they stained the three sides of the house that were cedar which required ladders since the cedar goes up two floors. I was impressed to see them back rolling the eaves which is not always done by contractors. Also when I checked with them concerning the quality of the paint it was from a major brand which carried a 5 year warranty. Most impressive was the fact that no drips remained when they finished.
