The company does not care about it’s customers. They sprayed the yard where for medical reasons my father was forced to sell a few months earlier and would not waive a $40 bill for a customer of 17 years who is in no shape to handle these type of things to a property which is now occupied by new owners. I get the account needed to be cancelled but with this situation and how long he was a customer it says a lot about the company not to waive the bill and none of it is good...

This company is SHADY. Crystle in their office is rude, argumentative, and uncooperative. This business signed me up for service without any agreement or pricing. When I contacted them to dispute the charge and asked them to kindly remove it, she threatened to send my account to collections. I asked them to provide proof of my authorization of services and she said they don’t have to provide that to customers. On top of that, I watched the technician on my Ring doorbell after they serviced my yard and the guy missed tons of spots. The product is bad and the service is worse. STAY AWAY!!

No wonder they're rated 1.0/5 with BBB and Crystal is a serious LIAR and God will judge liars. She's unprofessional & argumentative, a gatekeeper that refuses to let you speak to other workers/staff or upper management about previous damage to the lawn and remedy. When my mother asked to come to their location to meet a manger with images and reports Crystal screamed NO and abruptly hung as we were trying to speak with her. Today, I called to report again fertilizer burn from a recent application they did a few days ago . Crystal, the liar, went as far as to say she closed my account because my mother and I threatened to harm folks in her office which is a complete defamatory LIE, and then abruptly hung up the phone. She made this up to avoid accountability for the property damages this company has caused and has refused to let me speak with anyone else.

I bought a 5 treatment plan and paid in advance. To date I have had only 2 treatments....late April and late June (now it's late Aug). At this rate I will get my last treatment on Xmas. I called and was told to disregard their own literature for application schedule. Second year in a row I've had problems/weeds. I asked for a refund for one application so they can finish in mid-Oct and was refused. Seems hopeless to get satisfaction.

Terrible customer service. We used them for years with good results. Last year a new man came and more plus more weeds grew. My husband talked to the service person every time to work with him. Spring arrived, due to all the weeds we cleaned up spots and planted grass seed. First treatment same thing. A terrible mess. I went out to talk with the person and much to my delight our guy from all the years wS back!! Happy day we should have our lawn back again! I called the Grassmaster office to ask not to pay for the first ineffective treatment. I told them I was thrilled to have our usual man back but would not pay for treatment as described. We got a call back saying we had to pay for both services And they would no longer service our yard! Some great customer appreciation for so many years with them. If you hire them buyer beware.

They just do routine maintenance to keep the grass growing and the weeds away.

It was good. They do weed control, I don't have to worry about my weeds and all other things. When we call actually, there's no proper response; we have to hold actually. The communication is problematic. We cannot talk to them directly; we have to wait for long in order to talk to any of the customer services, Communications not good at all. On quality, last year it was not good it was a C, but this year it's a B.

So far, so good, only have had one treatment per schedule.

Sometimes they don’t get a 100% of the weeds so they come back out to get all of the weeds.

I received the written estimate but had two emergency trips to the hospital so I never even had the opportunity to open the envelope. They had been treating my lawn for some time w/no problems. It's when I asked for the estimate for other work that the trouble started. A crew showed up without my knowledge or consent and mowed my lawn and did a terrible job at that. They didn't even blow debris away from my patio. I had just come home from hospital and was in bed when they did the work and I didn't even get up b/c I thought it was my regular lawn service company whom I had employed for years. The next week Grass Master showed up again and this time I was up and about, so I went outside and stopped them. I told them that I had never agreed to the work and that no contract had been signed and that they had to leave, which they did, only after he said "We come here every week to mow". I said "No, you don't. I have a regular lawn service". Then I immediately called Grass Master and canceled ALL services and told them that I would not pay for the mowing that they had done. AGAIN, the next week Grass Master was sitting in front of my yard and I went outside and asked the man "You're not here for my house, are you? I canceled all Grass Master service". He said that no one had informed him of that. Riiiiight. YET AGAIN, I received a voice mail stating that someone would be out to my home to trim and prune the trees and shrubs and if I had any questions to call. So call I did. I asked "Just to be clear, you work for _______, right?" "No", was the reply. "Your son arranged this for you". "Oh?" I asked. "My son's name is?" "Matt" was the reply. Uh huh. Matt just happens to be the name of the owner of Grass Master in Canal Fulton. I told him he had the wrong number and that was being polite. Grass Master, Inc. is the most dishonest and sneaky company I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. If you hire these crooks, it's on you.

They come out 6 X a year. They start in early spring. My yard looks the best it has ever looked. The price according to size/per acre. I will use them again this year. Very professional. They leave a flag in the grass to let you know its been fertilized. They call before they come so you are forewarned.

Lawn is doing well. We're usually not home when it's being done. We've used Grass Master for several years with no problems.

We have a big yard and a fenced in yard. They always remember to do the fenced in yard and, called the day before they came out. Best part was they didn't call me every week to see if we needed another service.

Good so far! They call ahead to let me know the next service date and it hasn't been missed so far. Lawn looks great.

I just changed providers this year from the people that had it when I bought the house, and there seems to be more moss than I have seen before, and I am not sure if it is because of the weather that we have had.

I had yearly service for lawn care, not mowing, with Grass Master. I have been with them several years. I have 4 large trees in my yard and called for a quote for leaf removal. I was quoted $80 on the phone and was told to call them back closer to the date I wanted the service. I called back 2 weeks before the date I wanted and I was again told $80. I scheduled a date. One day before their scheduled visit I called to confirm they were coming and again received the same quote of $80. They came, removed all of my leaves and did an excellent job. I paid my bill on line and paid $80 even before I received their bill. Then I received the bill from them and they charged me $160 and showed that I still owed $80. I wrote a letter to them on the bill saying that I did not owe them $80 more and that I had paid what they quoted me several times. They accepted this. The problem is that I referred them to my friend before I received their bill wanting more money than they quoted me. She called them and even asked them if they wanted to come out to her house and look at her yard and give her an estimate for her leaf removal based on coming out. The office told her it was not necessary for them to come out and it would be $80.00. She trusted the office quote and had her leaves removed. GrassMaster came out to my friends house, a senior citizen also, and removed her leaves. Her bill came and it was almost THREE times the amount that she had been quoted. She called them and told them that she would pay $80 because that is what they quoted her on the phone. The office woman said she could make payments for the balance. It was left this way. She paid them $80. She received a bill saying that she owed $160 more. She wrote them a letter explaining what had happened. Some one called her one evening representing Grass Masters. They wanted more of a payment and when the situation was discussed, they were totally unaware of any letter that she had written, but said he would look into it. . She heard nothing back from them and thought that the bill was settled. Then she received a bill from Collections. She contacted Collections and explained her side of the story and wrote an appeal. She thought it had been taken care of because she never heard about her appeal. Then phone calls started. Another bill came and she finally paid the entire amount. I was upset over this situation because I recommended GrassMaster to her. Then, I read the reviews and the ratings of Grassmaster (however nothing was about leaf pick up) and I understand why she had trouble with them. I cancelled my service with GrassMaster and would NEVER recommend them to anyone again. But, I strongly feel that there is no way my friend should have had to pay the entire amount of the bill.

Their price was pretty consistent with the other places. They just come around at certain time of the year.

Grass masters does the fertilization of my grass, it could be a little greener though, but overall very good service, no problems with the fertilization of the grass , it's a little difficult to get somebody out when you have an issue though

I switched to Grass Masters this year. I can tell a difference in how my lawn is responding to the treatments. They call me a few days in advance to let me know when they are coming. They leave me a bill on the door following each treatment. I also had them irrigate my yard and was not happy with how it turned out. I called them, they were responsive to the issue and came out to redo the work.

Not impressed with the company. When I called to get a time when the company would be coming to my home, call was answered by a very rude person. Could not give me a specific time when they would come to my home. I needed to be here because gates are locked. After the spraying, I have had more weeds and strange grasses growing in my yard than I ever had. I called again to express my concerns. Same rude person answered the phone. I explained the situation and she would not have them come out and reapply. Said that due to rain, they can't guarantee the work. I've had other companies do my lawn on the same day there was a storm and never had problems. Would not recommend and will never use again.

The service went fine and it is an ongoing relationship which is going well. They give good service at a good price.

I think they could improve on pricing. They do a pretty good job and I am sure that other companies were more expensive. My neighbor had another lawn service and they were always howling him to get other things done in the yard. Grass Master Inc. was fine and I do not have anything to complain about. They called me before coming and everything. They let me know that I could to call them back and cancel it.

Again, this is a great local company that provides good service for the price! I highly recommend them to neighbors and friends when I can.
