Grass Master, Inc.

We have used this company for a couple years. Never had a problem until yesterday. When we had App#2 we told, who I am assuming the office manager to skip #3, which they did. There is a note on our account that we will call them if we want another app. And they are to text my phone 2 days before they do the app. Which they did, but it wasnt my phone number. This girl rattled off 2 phone numbers which were not even close to my number. And like magic she says (Phone number Removed). And she confirmed that we will call when we want an app, which is correct. They automatically deducted the money out of my account which she ought to know by looking at my account that after receiving an app, I pay their bill on the 3rd of the next month. She sd she doesnt know about that. She should she is the OM. I call BS. We went back and forth about the bill. She sd since you are getting your money back, we will just bill you. I sd go ahead, I am not paying it. She sd then it will go to collections, I sd go ahead, send it as many times as you want, I am not paying it. I then Asked to speak to a mgr she sd I am one of the managers, she sd no one else is available. I sd of course. By this time I went from b******* to crying. She then says, IF YOU DONT HAVE 35.00 IN YOUR ACCOUNT MAYBE LAWNCARE SERVICE ISNT FOR YOU. I SD DO YOU KNOW HARD IT IS TO LIVE ON DISABILITY FOR A MONTH, SHE SD NO I DONT. I THEN SD YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE SD WHAT YOU SD. SHE SD I CANCEL EVERYTHING? I SD YES AND HUNG UP!! SINCE THEN I HAVE MESSAGED ONE OF THE CO OWNERS WHICH WONT DO A DAMN BIT OF GOOD AND ASKED FOR A FORMAL APOLOGY. AND THE 35.49 RESOLVED. THEN I WILL CONSIDER COMING BACK BUT NOT UNTIL THOSE 2 ISSUES ARE RESOLVED AND SHE FORMALLY APOLOGIZES FOR DISRESPECTING HER ELDERS. SORRY HALF OF THIS IS IN CAPS BUT IM PISSED.

We have used this company for years. We were happy but a new man started coming last year. Disaster, weeds everywhere. My husband spoke to the man every time he came but it did no good. This year we cleaned up the problem spots and seeded. Same guy came out. Terrible results. We planned to talk with him one more time or quit service. Happy day! Our first wonderful man arrived for the treatment. Since he was back we called and asked that he be the only person to care for our lawn and that we felt the first treatment was not effective so we did not want to pay for it. I got a call back that he was not to do our lawn and they would not treat our yard AND they said we have to pay for it!!! Wow now that is appreciation for a long standing customer. Something has changed with this company and not for the better. Buyer beware

Fertilizer

Quoted me a price on aeration and weed control through email. Came and did the aeration within 2 weeks. Took 2 months of me calling and waiting to get them to treat for weeds. The weeds persisted after the treatment. I cancelled my service with them. They billed me for more than they quoted.I pointed this out to them. They said they had corrected my bill and I sent in payment with a note of the conversation. They are still billing me for the higher price than what was quoted. I will never use them again.

This company cannot follow directions. Do not use! I specifically spoke with Zach and said the back yard was off limits and not to go back there. Only the front yard was to be done. I looked out over the back upstairs porch and the guy is applying the spray all around my grapes! There's a sign on the garage, no trespassing and there is another fence in the backyard that he went through We have never applied pesticides to my backyard and the grapes have been there over 60 years. I told him to leave. He said it was not on his work order. So in essence they probably did this on their first application too. I reported this immediately and cancelled them. All they could say is "sorry" Well, now I am not able to eat any of the fruit and have to throw out what was already picked the other day because they probably sprayed back there on their first application. This is absolutely poor management! Totally livid with this company and do not use them! They are not even worth half stars.

They installed new lawn and did much more than other landscaper would do for the same price. Scheduling was a problem because of the weather, but they seemed more timely than other companies.

We were away on vacation when the garden was installed and it looks great. We had contacted the office on the Saturday to let them know that we wanted them to go ahead with the project. On that following Friday, the most of the garden was done. Their are a few plants and ornamental grasses on order that have not arrived, but I'm am so happy with what is done already. Thank you for the referral of Grass Master, Inc. Jeff listened to what we wanted and worked very well with us. I will definately contact them with further projects around our home.

They were a little slow getting started but what a difference. We couldn't believe how one huge redesigned flowerbed transformed our backyard. It looks awesome! However we had 2 disturbances. They overcharged us for 1 service and we had a discrepancy on another. Despite these challenges, Grass Master demonstrated excellent customer service. Jeff quickly & calmly resolved both issues with total professionalism. So much so, that I contracted them for another outstanding job. And YES, I would definitely recommend your service to others!

Elizabeth and Matt have been wonderful. They started our job in the middle of the season and we've been happy with the service.

The rep had several great suggestions but for now we hired them to service our lawn. So far we are very pleased with Grass Master, Inc.
