The first time they came out to do the work. The work was not done to the work order of what was suppose to be done. I call them and they came back out the next day and started the work again.They left when it started to rain and never said we will be back or call to reschedule or anything. I was going to use them to maintain my lawn this year but after the service i received i going to cancel them.     

They were to come out and do our work but put if off, but we understand that because of all the rain we had this spring. But, when they finally came out and did the work, the edging wasn't real neat and crisp; they pulled things out of the flower beds and off of the deck and just left it. They were supposed to trim and they did not, they had to come back again. They also left leaves in the middle of a lot of bushes. It was not a good job and we wrote them and told them but they never responded. We pre-paid for the fertilization because there was a discount if you pre-pay. The reason we went with them was because they are all natural - children and pets can walk on the grass two hours after they put the stuff down, whereas with others you have to wait 24 hours for pets and children to walk on the grass. So the reason we went with them was because they were organic. We will not use them again and we will not refer them. In fact, my neighbor was going to call them because we used them and I told her not to call them. However, the guy who came out and gave us a quote was very personable.

I can see major improvements in my lawn. 

It has always gone very well with them. We are very pleased.

PORTION OF CANCELLATION LETTER SENT 10/21/05: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, EARTH TURF IS NO LONGER AUTHORIZED TO PROVIDE SERVICE AT MY PROPERTY. I WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR ANY EARTH TURF SERVICES. AFTER MORE THAN 3 WEEKS OF TRYING TO CONTACT YOU ABOUT THE RAPIDLY DECLINING CONDITION OF MY LAWN, YOU RECOMMENDED THE ENTIRE BACK YARD BE SLIT SEEDED. YOU INDICATED YOU WOULD DO THIS WITHIN 1 WEEK OF OUR CONVERSATION. THAT WAS MORE THAN 3 WEEKS AGO. YOU'LL SEE FROM THE ATTACHED PHOTOS JUST HOW TERRIBLE THE YARD LOOKS. THIS IS WHAT I PAY EARTH TURF TO HELP AVOID. NOTICE HOW BOTH ADJACENT YARDS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WHILE THE EARTH TURF TREATED LAWN IS NEARLY A WASTE-LAND. AFTER 4 YEARS OF CONTRACTING WITH EARTH TURF AND MORE THAN A THOUSAND DOLLARS IN SALES TO YOU, I EXPECTED BETTER SERVICE - NOT WORSE. THEREFORE I AM CANCELING SERVICE, REPORTING MY EXPERIENCE TO THE ANGIE'S LIST REFERRAL SERVICE, AND FINDING A COMPANY WHO WILL REPAIR MY YARD TO ITS PROPER CONDITION.
