Since 1994 the Hartz brothers have built our business by delighting every possible customer. Our father taught us never to do a half-way job and we complete every parking lot and driveway project as if it were our own. We use the best products and application process and we answer our phones before and after the project is complete with the same courtesy. "Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], First, I appreciate your feedback, and I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion we have caused you as we have changed our service area. I am flattered that you wanted to use us again and that it has been 4 years since we last did your driveway--most companies can't claim that kind of quality product and service when it comes to asphalt sealing! Our decision to focus our service area was a decision that my brother and I made early last year when we looked over our customer base and tried to focus a bit more on areas where we have the most potential for strategic growth. It was not an easy decision, I promise you. We discussed it with all of our in-office staff as well as some of our crew leaders. Although there is potential for growth in the Anderson area, and although we had a number of customers that we had done work for previously that were disappointed to hear we would not be doing their work in the future, we had to make a decision that was best for our company and employees moving forward. We found that that the low number of customers we already had, along with the drive times in the [Member Information Removed], 45255 and 45245 zip codes made it difficult for us to offer the type of responsive service on which we pride ourselves. I know it's no consolation but we also removed several other areas where our customers were more sparce (Wyoming, Glendale, Mason. etc) at the other side of our service area. We are currently revising our website and it should be up and running in a week with a new map of our residential area to help customers see our service area more clearly.
