Had to drop the cabinets 3/4" down from the soffit to allow the cove molding to fit between the cabinet doors and the soffit. Sadly, had to do this after mounting some of the wall cabinets. Then had to cut the base of the pantry down to allow cove molding to fit also. One inch cove molding doesn't fit with a cabinet door that goes to within 1/4 inch of the cabinet top.
The design did not center the sink base cabinet in the window above.
The island corner cabinet was shown with a full outside corner on the design and delivered with the corner removed. Have to build out the corner for the wood panel and for the counter top.
Design from them specified 3 full size paneling sheets. Two would have been plenty, so paid for more paneling then we needed. Called them to ask where the paneling would go and they didn't return the call.
On the positive side, they stored our cabinets for awhile in their warehouse and were very accommodating with delivery. Deilvery guys were great, no real issues with damage.
Bottom line would be, do your own design or from somewhere else and fine to purchase from MBS.
