Dry Cleaning Service
So far I have contacted my Credit Card company and register a complaint, completed this review, and registered a complaint with the BBB.
Update:
In response to Done Right Cleaners response:
I received a letter from Angie's List last week indicating the cleaners response with certification from the service provider. First their response is inaccurate and fabricated. Why would I have tried to repress the shirt when we were bringing four other shirts back to be repressed. If I paid for a shirt to be pressed the first time why would I redo their work. Second if it was a water mark as they claim it would have laundered out when they washed the shirt. It was new and never worn. Third they claimed that my wife admitted to trying to iron the shirt. My wife does not iron my shirts ever. I do or they are done by a dry cleaner. She would have never indicated that she did. Last point I did not demand $60.00 for reimbursement. They offered $20.00. I cannot replace the shirt for that and told them that if they could I would be more than satisfied with a like for like replacement. The cleaner must have their story confused with someone else. At this point I know that getting the shirt replaced is not likely. I have never been treated so rudely from a business. I just want to ensure that others are warned of the company's low standards and customer service. I can definitely understand their position of thinking that they did not cause the stain however, I will definitely take offense to their outright misrepresentation of the facts.

Response from Done Right Cleaners
"Thank you for the opportunity to respond to [member name removed] complaint. The Paul Frederick shirt was brought in on January 10 with ten other shirts to be laundered and pressed by [member name removed]. (copies of invoices enclosed) The order was picked up on January 14. On January 17 [member name removed] brought in four more shirts and the one that [member name removed] is complaining about. She admitted that she tried to re-press the shirt and that some water splashed out of her home iron. Unfortunately, there may have been some sediment built up in her home iron which may have caused it to sputter and leave what looks like a little water mark on the shirt front. That is the probable cause of the problem. By the way, the spot had to be point out because the customer service person couldn’t see it until [member name removed] pointed it out. When it was taken to the plant for a free re-do, we again had a hard time finding the stain. None of his other shirts had this problem, nor any of the approximately 300 shirts processed that day. Even though we did nothing to harm his shirt and based on [member name removed] initial comments, as a matter of customer good will we offered [member name removed] $20 to buy another shirt from Paul Frederick. (copy of offer enclosed). He refused our offer and demanded $60 compensation. If he is not eligible for this offer as he already ordered from Paul Frederick, [member name removed] can order up to four shifts at the $19.95 for him. Sincerely, Mary Ann Kolesar, Owner"
