On our last leg of a trip to Europe and home, our van broke down on Interstate 80. We immediately called AAA and John Carpenter responded. Carpenter's Towing Service is a family owned business. John and his flatbed arrived within 20 minutes of our call. He was so concerned for our safety, as traffic was heavy and an endless stream of 18-wheelers roared by us. He led me first to the cab of his truck, then returned to the van to bring my husband. It then took John only about 5 minutes to load our vehicle onto his flatbed. We were about 50 miles from home, and John took us and our vehicle right to our driveway. On the drive, we enjoyed conversing with him about his family business and hearing some personal stories as well. While the circumstances surrounding our meeting with John Carpenter were not so great, we are to this day so grateful to him for coming to our rescue. Broken down? Need help? Call Carpenter's!
