Russo Custom Tile and Stone

Vince helped plan the new bathroom, We dropped the floor for a curbless shower and built up the joists for a freestanding tub. The room was completely waterproofed and beautifully tiled. There were some big challenges and Vince and Dave did a fabulous job.

It went very well. The guys were fairly neat, showed up on time, contacted me when they were running behind, and overall did a great job. Vince was able to get me a price break on the tile itself and after I provided the shower light, diverter/shower head, etc they took care of everything else. They ripped out old plumbing, at least 3 inches of solid concrete, and old tile, right down to the ceiling and floor joists. I have to admit that it was pretty cool to see what that looked like, as nobody had seen that since the house was built or the shower was last remodeled.
Vince communicated with me throughout the project, sometimes even after hours to give me updates on how the work was going. We trusted them to do quality work while we were not at home and they did not disappoint. They worked at a good pace and got everything done in a little over 1 work week. Vince constantly shared progress with me, either digitally or in person, as he told me that he loves to share his work - even work in progress. I appreciated that since it made me feel included in the process - and not just the guy who pays the bills.
Their quote was the most reasonable of the estimates I received and admittedly I took a chance on them since they don't have a lot of Angie's List reviews. Vince does have a website, though, and it has tons of pictures of stall showers and other work that he's done. It's worth looking at to see if you like his work. I can say that I loved his work and I think he went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. He offered some design assistance regarding confirming that the tile we chose would work, selecting grout that would match, and installing shelves in the shower. Finally, he installed his invention, the "ladies leg shaving step" in the shower which is a miniature version of a full-sized corner shelf. I have my wife's seal of approval on that!
Overall I would highly recommend Vince and his brother, Tony. They are professional, honest, and hardworking guys - plus they're just nice people. They will ensure that each job meets with your satisfaction and they stand behind the work that they do. I will be sure to contact these guys for the next tile or stone project that I have. Give them a chance - you will not be disappointed.
Please note that you will need to pick out and pay for your own materials (tile/stone) and you'll have to pay for other materials like grout, etc (cost noted above includes labor only). Vince is very good about getting discounts on materials and he will verify that your materials will work well for your project. You are also responsible for purchasing your own shower head/diverter, lighting, shower rod, etc. I'm sure Vince would have purchased this stuff for me, but he encouraged me to buy it so that I could get exactly what we wanted. Vince was nice enough to deal with the tile vendor, pick it up, etc.

Vince is excellent. I have never dealt with anyone as conscientious as him. He really is thorough and accommodating. He does excellent work and go that extra step to make everything perfect. I would call him in an instant for any work needed in the future. If you're so inclined he will encourage you to DIY if you are so inclined, give you advice through a website or on phone. You could not ask for a better provider.

I'm pleased with the work. Vince was efficient, neat, skilled and professional.

He came in the morning, laid down drop cloths, set everything up, measured and had the tile sorted. He was way fussier than I would have been. When the tile was all installed, he cleaned everything up and told me he'd be back in the morning to grout. He came right on time and finished just like he promised. I'm so happy and satisfied with every detail!
