FROM START TO FINISH THIS WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.  I APPRECIATED HIS CONCERN WHEN SAFETY WAS AN ISSUE ON MY WELL BEING.  I TRUST HIM WHEN HE MAKES SUGGESTIONS ON NEEDED REPAIRS THAT MIGHT HAVE GONE UNNOTICED.  BEING A SENIOR CITIZEN, YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT FLY BY NIGHT BUSINESSES THAT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY. JIM KELLY, OWNER HAS MY UTMOST RESPECT FOR HIS HONESTY AND BUSINESS ETHICS.

Jim Kelly was very prompt in answering my call. Initially, I had planned to remove and build a new front step area to my front door. He provided a prompt proposal via email on the same day. While comparing his proposal to others, I decided that I did not want to spend $10,000 at this time. I called him back and asked if he would be interested in repairing the existing stairs. He again responded promptly with an acceptable bid. I added the other items listed above. He worked on this project while I was on vacation. My son took photos. He did a very good job. Kept the jobsite clean. I am considering him to complete a chimney cap installation.

Jim Kelly is a true professional and a joy to work with. He was prompt and responsive to my questions and concerns and offered good suggestions and solutions. While the project turned out to be bigger than I had originally anticipated ( I was looking at repairing instead of rebuilding), it really needed to be done. Jim explained everything he was doing along the way. I am pleased with the results.

He did an excellent job on the tuckpointing. It looks very nice; it's hard to tell where the new mortar starts compared to the old. He was very punctual and worked very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. He was also very conscientious about cleaning up any work-related messes. He wasn't the cheapest estimate we got, but we felt he had a better grasp on what the job would actually entail. Some of the other contractors gave us lower bids, but we had a sense that they wouldn't do quite as thorough a job. All in all, we were satisfied with the work and felt the price was fair.
