It was a bit messy, we cleaned the ceramic floors a few days after the install and we will also have to seal the tile ourselves. There was also a lot of dust inside on the floor from our garage door(where the tile was being cut) down our hallway to our basement (where the tile was laid). If you have him do work for you ask if cardboard or drop cloths can be laid down to help with the dust, we have laminate floors and we were able to wipe it up easily; had we had carpet it may have required professional cleaning. and placed it in our garage (the price of these materials is not reflected in the price above).
