ceramic tile
+ -1 moreIt was a bit messy, we cleaned the ceramic floors a few days after the install and we will also have to seal the tile ourselves. There was also a lot of dust inside on the floor from our garage door(where the tile was being cut) down our hallway to our basement (where the tile was laid). If you have him do work for you ask if cardboard or drop cloths can be laid down to help with the dust, we have laminate floors and we were able to wipe it up easily; had we had carpet it may have required professional cleaning. and placed it in our garage (the price of these materials is not reflected in the price above).
Description of Work: This business also has an address of 4035 Darby Lane, North Olmsted. Steve came to our house and gave us an estimate and a week later was able to fit us into his schedule. He was very nice and professional. Our job was approx. 400 sq ft and included a bathroom, kitchen and some angled walls in our basement. We tore out the existing floor and removed the trim, we also had a toilet and vanity that we removed. We purchased the tile and grout from Home Depot and we picked it up and placed it in our garage. The subfloor had been painted and Steve came 2 days before the job to prep the floor for the mortar. Steve and his assistant were able to lay the floor in one day then came back and grouted and replaced the trim and did a better job replacing it then the original job. We are very happy with the tile job. We did not have any design in our tile it was just a straight 12" by 12" lay. But we did have a shower and 2 drains to go around, plus 2 doorways and a tricky 45 degree angle.
