 + -1 moreThey did a fantastic job!. We had to wait a little bit after they picked up the furniture, but the wait was definitely worth it. Our furniture is about 70 years old and was scratched and chipped, but now looks better than new. They are not inexpensive, but the workmanship is worth every penny. We would use them again.

 + -1 moreWonderful. Lou and his team did an outstanding job on the repair and refinishing. The Dining room table is stable and solid. The Kitchen Table and Chairs look and feel brand new, and in addition, he tightened all the bolts and screws, making the table and chairs stable. I am so very impressed with the work. They were professional, efficient and the work is very high quality.

Description of Work: I inherited my Great Aunt's Antique China Cabinet with bowed glass front. It was a mess with chips and scratches and peeled off finish. I read the reviews on Victor Lia Refinishers and called to get an estimate and to have Lou come out and inspect it for himself. He came out and gave us an estimate and time frame of roughly 6 weeks or so because he was booked. We agreed and just this morning delivered my gorgeous, beautifully refinished china cabinet! Lots of work and elbow grease went into this and the result was fantastic! I highly, highly recommend Victor Lia Refinishers if you are even thinking about having your furniture refinished. Yes, the price is a bit expensive; but, Lou and his employees do such a fabulous and meticulous job this china cabinet looks brand new! The glass sparkles! Lou also re-upholstered my 30 year old rocker with new fabric. He went beyond to make this rocker look brand new as well! I couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Lou and his team.

 + -1 moreVictor Lia Refinisher was wonderful. They picked up and delivered our furniture in a timely manner. They really helped us make decisions about our upholstery, and the cost was really reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: We had our dining room furniture refurbished. The seats needed reupholstering and the caning needed to be replaced. Our table had a few scratches and those were rubbed out and restained so that I could not find where the scratch was even knowing where to look. They did a great job.

Victor Lia came to look at it, made an estimate of all work that would be needed (gluing pieces back on, fixing a drawer, refinishing) and then a cost and estimate and how long it would take. Once we agreed, they took the table. Five weeks later, I got something back that probably looked better than it did when it was first created. It is absolutely stunning. I couldn't be happier. I eventually will need to have my dining room table and chairs redone and I won't call anyone else besides Victor Lia.
