It went very well, they we very professional.

Caire Electric came to my rescue, defining the problem, what the repairs would entail and how long the job would take.
They returned at least three times, at no additional charge, to complete the process once the city inspector had assessed the repairs.
The owner was easily accessible by phone, personable, convivial, informative and a treasure to work with.
I now consider him a "contracting friend", one I will refer to family and friends.
He will be returning soon to complete additional electrical needs.
I felt a since of trust and safety.. and I learned quite a bit in the process.
Caire Electric was a great find.!!!

Federal Pacific electrical boxes have been identified as fire hazzards, so in preparation for selling our home we had Caire Electric change out our entire electrical box and perform other electrical upgrades.  We were very satisfied with Caire Electric, they performed the work on time, worked neatly and with no interruption in our household activities.  We have recommended them to several other friends and colleagues. 

After a storm tore electric wires off the side of my house I looked up electrical services on Angies List. I called Clover electric. They came and gave me an estimate for the work they said had to be done. The estimate was for $4000. I then called Jim Vocaire owner of Caire electric. He came right out, looked at the work that needed to be done and estimated $1575. We made an appointment with Caire. The workman, Bob, showed up on time, was very professional, did a great job and cleaned up well. It was THE BEST experience I've had with any contractor. Will definitely call Caire again for any electrical work I might need.

They were on time, competent, clean and they did the work; there were no surprises.  It’s hard to get an A on price because I want it all for free.

The job took 2 days.

Jim Vocaire came out to our house, walked through it and pointed out all the things that needed to be done. We had been told by someone else that the electrical panel needed to be replaced but Jim said that wasn't necessary, the panel was UL listed and perfectly acceptable. The panel grounding needed to be upgraded, there was an additional breaker box for A/C that needed to be removed and incorporated in the panel and all the breakers needed labeling. He also installed several new outlets, new GFI receptacles where needed, removed old wiring to garage, installed several light fixtures, and installed 7 smoke detectors. The price included the permit from the city and follow-up inspection. He did the work when he said he would and left the house clean when he left. He was courteous and professional.

I've hired Jim for various large and small electrical projects for about 6 years and would recommend him to anyone. Being a single mom responsible for the household repairs and upgrades, I've never felt taken advantage of when I've hired Jim. He explains everything in detail, provides options and will never take short cuts relating to meeting codes, etc.

From the moment Bob came to do the work, he was professional, hard working, and he really knew his trade. It was unsure how many of the ceiling tiles in the basement needed to be removed as the 6 guage line was fed through the finished ceiling in the basement. Somehow Bob was able to complete the job without disturbing any of the fixed tiles which was fantastic. Once the work was complete, the work area was left immaculate as if no one was ever there. Bob was pleasant, friendly, and efficient as he worked to complete the task. He completed the job in less time than was expected and did excellent work. We wouldn't hesitate to call Caire Electric for any electrical work in the future!

It was very good, they were prompt, they came immediately to look over the problem. Could not start until after the 4th of July. They showed up at 8:30 in the morning like they said they would and told us that we would be out of electricity for about 4 hours, which was correct. Very courteous as well. I was satisfied with the price.

JOB 1: THEY DID A GREAT JOB! THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING WELL. I AM HAVING THEM BACK OUT TO DO MORE WORK. JOB 2: EXCELLENT WORK, GREAT CLEANUP, WORKED EFFICIENTLY WITH NO BREAKS. VERY PLEASED

THEY WERE EXTREMELY BUSY, BUT THE OWNER TOOK HER RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE SHE WAS AFRAID OF FIRE. HE FIXED EVERTHING, AS WELL AS MAKING SUGGESTIONS- SHE NEEDED TO REPLACE HER HAIRDRYER NOT THE OUTLET IN THE BATHROOM. HE ALSO FIXED THE BREAKER BOX.
