I found Arleen on the Service Magic web site. I called her and left a message asking her to call me. Arleen responded that same I day in the evening. She apologized for the delay because she was on a job and she felt it wouldn't be proper to stop working to take a call while she was working. Arlene impressed me right away because this was a work ethic I subscribed to when I was at work. We arranged a time when I would be available. Arlene offers a and quot;complimentary meet and greetand quot; with one of her team members to discuss the work desired to be performed and the cost involved. Arleen established an hourly charge since it was impossible to determine the length of time the job would take to complete.
Arlene and her team member started working on my basement. This was a priority since I had some water damage as a result of some drain backup during a severe down pour. We donated some objects, discarded some and recycled others. After a thorough cleaning, what remained was organized and categorized. The basement is beautiful.
The next area of concern was my garage. Again, years of clutter were tackled. In a similar manner, we discarded what could no longer be used, donated what I no longer needed, and organized the tools that remained. Again, I could not have been happier with the results of Arleen's work.
In a similar manner, Arlene organized my kitchen for me, organizing soups, pastas and staples so I had a better idea of what I had available. We are now organizing mostly paperwork. We are setting up a filing system for my bills and papers. At this point there is still work to do before I determine that the job is completed.
Arleen is a very kind and considerate person. She calls every week the day before she comes over to confirm the meeting the next day. She also calls about 1/2 hour before she arrives. She is very flexible if I have plans that conflict with my scheduled time. Arleen is a very happy person who is a joy to have around. I really do look forward to her weekly visits. She has really accomplished a lot in a relatively short amount of time and is always very professional. She has exceptionally good ideas and suggestions. I cannot imagine ever accomplishing what we have without Arleen's help. She has become a cherished friend as well, an added bonus I would never have imagined.
