RELIANCE ROOFING SYSTEMS INC

Overall, I was fairly satisfied with the performance of this roofing company. The roofing crew did a good job of cleaning up the site at the end of each work day. The crew leader was experienced and conscientious - except for one instance (more on that issue later). The job took them about 10 days - which was a bit longer than I thought it should have taken. In their defense, the weather was quite warm, but they often did not arrive on site until after 9:00 A.M. and were usually gone by 3:00 P.M.. After the new roof was complete, there was one area that leaked. When I contacted the company about this leak, they had someone at my house the next day. The reason for the leak was explained to me, the problem was taken care of, and I have had no issues with any leaks since that time. My only major (and it was rather major) complaint about their work was that on one day, after they had removed the old shingles from a large section of the roof, they put down a layer of roofing paper, and then left for the day. The weather forecast called for rain that evening and, sure enough, it rained. Numerous leaks developed in the section of roof upon which they had been working - some of which seeped through the ceiling of two rooms of the house. Although they arrived, the next morning, with materials to repaint the affected areas of the ceiling, the paint that they brought did not exactly match the color of the ceiling. I felt that, given the weather forecast, they should have tarped the roof to prevent the kind of water damage that I experienced.
