I was courteously greeted. Heather came to get me promptly and first checked how I wanted my hair cut. She has cut it twice now and was sure to ask how the first cut worked out. The salon is somewhat small, but clean and nicely appointed. The people are friendly and courteous. Heather is quite careful checking to make sure the cut is even, which can be a challenge as I have moderately curly hair. I already have another appointment scheduled.

The worst job I have ever seen plus a very unprofessional service .
The stylist had little idea about how to cut and to style. First she put the wrong dye color, even that I had given her the color code in writting in advance. After a short hair wash she threw such a quantity of products onto the hair that turned it matte and stiff as cardboard. The cut was done with a complete lack of care. Instead of a using a standard round brush to gradually stretch my hair she used a large, flat one and tried to brush all the hair altogether and left -incidentally, she had another client waiting at the time and told her boss that she was 20 minutes delayed- grew impaciently for being unable to . When the hair was frizz, flattened and electrified she ironed and burned it. I suggested to comb with a brush but the stylist refused arguing that it was too late. At that point I was going to go out. That was my fault. I stay and pay a ridiculus amount for the worts disaster I have ever have on my hair.

"On behalf of the entire Gallery Salon and Spa staff, we are very saddened to read this review. For almost 11 years, we have prided ourselves on thoroughly training all of our Service Providers before they perform services on Clients, and we also have a deeply held commitment to giving our Clients excellent customer service. On the rare occasion that someone is unhappy with a service, our policy is to do everything in our power to make the situation right. We wish we would’ve had that opportunity in this case, and we wish that this Client would’ve contacted management immediately about this issue because we would have done our very best to make her happy. The Member’s name listed at the top of this review was not in our database, and they did not mention the date of service or the name of the Service Provider that they saw, so we had to research the circumstances before we posted a reply. If it is the Client that we think it was, we want to mention that the formula she brought to our Stylist was not a Redken formula, which makes a very big difference. We only use Redken color and formulas between brands are not interchangeable. Sometimes it requires trial and error to match a different color brand, and we are sorry that it wasn’t right the first time. Again, we wish we had the opportunity to fix that for her. In addition to the haircolor issue, the biggest problem here was obviously a lack of communication for which we take total responsibility. We will use this issue as a teaching point regarding effective consultation in the future. We would like this Client to know that we are very sorry that she had a bad experience and we would like the General Public to know that our main reasons for existence is our Client’s happiness and trust. We are grateful for every person who sits in a Gallery chair, and we hope future Clients will allow us to show them all the good that The Gallery can do for them."

Upon arriving, Abbey Hipp asked me if I would like a glass of water or tea. Then she took me to the room which is very relaxing and serene. She gave me a few minutes to get ready and she knocks on the door to see if you are ready. She asks if you want the bed warmer on. She asks what specific areas I want her to work on and how they feel before we begin. When she is finished she will ask how you feel and if you want a glass of water before you leave. She is very professional, personable, and skilled at what she does.
