See photos-Sharing the before and after work. Blacktop Specialist have a team of forces both driveway and excavation skilled. They saved our day having both skills. They even checked the water flow at all angles of the house. Very professional with all the equipment and man power to come in and do an awesome job. The team was attentive to our questions and we appreciated their attention to detail. Thrilled from head to toe, letting folks know this is definitely a company to put into your bid to action and get the job done right. Moving near new construction and seeing other neighbors get new driveways disappointed in cracks - NOT here, this company offers the 5 year guarantee work, just knocked it out of the park.

TERRIBLE!! TERRIBLE SERVICE, terrible crew, terrible job. I'm left with the same driveway I began with, only $5500 later. The company blocked my number because I complained. The owner came out and gave me his typical spiel 'I've been in this business for 35 years, blah, blah, blah,' obvious he said this before. The guy is a screw artist. His crew did a $1000 job for $5500. The sides of my driveway had eroded away and I was left with crumbles. I'm still left with CRUMBLES. The driveway after one or two winters is going to be the same s***** driveway I had for the past 20 years. These people did nothing to help me or my driveway. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THIS GROUP. FIND ANOTHER BLACKTOP CONTRACTOR.

They were very professional , answered all our questions and were very polite. When the job was done, everything was cleaned up and beautifully done. We will recommend them to all our friends. Great Company, GREAT people. Reasonable pricing.

Owner was rude, (when I asked if I had the excavation and gravel done or less work.... the response was to save money and call him back) quoted a price in November of 2018 that included excavating and gravel base. After 6 months I had the ground excavated and gravel installed, 2 more months to get the owner back out and he gave me the same price.... it is now September of 2019 and over weekly calls been told they will get to us as filler work..... never happened, no call backs and always the owner is busy and out of town. I called another company who quoted and installed no problems. This company uses an answering service and office manager but does not respond, most likely due to its focus on commercial jobs .

Not very well. The asphalt has very large stones and is poor quality although they try to assure me that they use the "best commercial grade". I was told it would all smooth out after we got the driveway sealed. The stones popped up after several months and we had these little indents in our driveway as well as cracks. They added an extra parking space to our driveway but didn't put down much of a base and it sunk after we had a small car sitting in the space for a few weeks. It took several phone calls to get Tony to come out and look at it. When they did come back they just cut out the bad spots and resurfaced it with the same type of asphalt. So now our driveway looks even worse then when they started.

They did an excellent job tearing up part of our driveway and then resurfacing. The project was done in a day, neat job and it looks great.

I was in Youngstown for a week staying with my mother. She is 94. She wanted to get about half of her driveway dug up and replaced. I called Blacktop Specialists and a woman called me back to set up an appt. for an estimate with Tony. It was to be Sat. June 28th at 10am. This was good because I was leaving for South Carolina at noon. 10am came an passed. I left at noon. Spoke to my mom the next day and no Tony or call from Tony saying he wasn't coming. Would recommend never using this company. Reading the other reviews....I see a pattern.

The work went well. They came right on time and finished in one day. They did an excellen job; we were very impressed.

My experience with them was very good. They had so men there; they had it done in a couple of hours. Their price was $500 less than what I thought I would pay. They were very professional. The foreman came to the door and let me know they were done.

Well around June 4th I called blacktop specialist in Poland ,Oh. A lady answered the phone and took my info and would have Valerie call back to set up an time and date for estimate. Within a few hours or so Valerie called back,she wanted to set up next day the 5th but I was working the next 3 days and wanted to schedule it that Friday June the 8th.Initially she wanted to schedule at 1 pm in the afternoon ,we preferred morning since watching grandsons that day and one naps in afternoon,This was to be scheduled with a gentlemen named Tony.So we set up between Valerie and Myself at 11 am. June 8 2012. So I was cutting grass waiting on Tony. 11 am comes and goes now its 12 noon,No Tony! So I figure well maybe Valerie wrote down 1 pm instead,so I was working on yard till about noon and thought ok, would wait till 1 pm to see if he was coming over. So 1 pm comes and goes its now 1 :30 pm and no Tony .so I call at 1:35 pm and a Lady answers the phone and I state, that I have been waiting since 11 am for Tony to come over to give me an estimate.So at this point no one had even called me to say running late or need to reschedule.So lady which I find out at a later date is a answering service, states should would pass on message.So the worst thing! I was off the 4th of June in a run of days that I worked 8 out of nine, 12 plus hours and this was my only day off. So I waited that whole weekend although I worked the next 5 days, No call? So I went on to there web site, June 13 2012 and placed a request again for a estimate. Valerie again called me back sometime early June 14 2012 ,stating that Tony was at office for a couple hours. If I called back within that time frame ,he could call me back .Since about once a week I go to cut Mother in laws lawn and her neighbors about 70 miles away . I did not get back till around 3pm or so,which was several hours after this message on machine. So I call her back which she was in office , I again very professionally stated my frustration with the fact of still not having Tony come over, and he never called me to cancel ,change or apoligize. So Valerie herself apoligized and asked me if I still wanted Tony to give me and estimate over the phone,I stated yes? well its June 27 and still no call from anyone,including Tony or Valerie following up on my estimate. So although I have talked to Valerie she sure has not done her job. I am beginning to think that Tony does not exist.

The price is right, but the customer service is horrible! It took several weeks and at least 4 phone calls to get someone to stop by. Then he left a card with the estimate and "clean and seal." I called back to ask about the cracks and it took another week and a half to get a response. His response was that it wasn't a good time to do the cracks because it would take too long to dry and that he would put some sand in the cracks to hold the sealer on top. this just doesn't sound like a professional to me.

We were extremely pleased with the work. They arrived when they said they would, finished when they said they would, and even came up with a more effective layout for the turnaround, creating better curb appeal. Everyone--from the telephone receptionist to the job supervisor to the workers--was extremely courteous and professional. We'd recommend this firm to anyone.
