Towne Square Animal Clinic

I feel very fortunate that I found Dr. Zekoff. I have nothing but very positive things to say about my visits to Towne Square Animal Clinic. I have a wonderful Border Collie/Shepard mix. The entire staff at Towne Square Animal Clinic is always very professional and very friendly in caring for me and my dog, Coal. In my recent visit, they identified Coal’s medical condition and remedy the problem quickly. Dr. Zekoff, also suggested some very unique and positive ways to keep Coal healthy, slim and physically fit. Later an appointment was made to have Coal’s teeth cleaned, along with minor gum treatment. I am impressed with their follow-up calls to make sure all is well with Coal and to see if I have any questions. They are the very best when it comes to caring for your very best friends. I have, also, found their rate schedules, for the many services they provide, to be fair and reasonable. Coal and I highly recommend Dr. Zekoff, Dr. Dwertman and their entire staff.

Both veterinarians are incredibly intelligent and kind. They've done wonders for my cats, and I wouldn't trust their health to anyone else.

We like the care they give and everyone that works there. We don't have to wait long for an appointment.

We like that he organizes a pet health day each year. He really amazed us and is a leader in the vet community here. He's been a fine vet for our dogs. He's respectful to our dogs and doesn't try to push things on the owners.

Bottom line, if you're overly concerned about upfront cost, try some place else. If your primary concern is ensuring that your pet receives the best care possible, then go to Towne Square. Unlike other vets in town, Dr. Zekoff seems to stay up-to-date on
the latest advancements and research in veterinary medicine. My dog was sick for months and he's the only vet that recognized that my dog had a unusual parasitic infection. Other vets just kept prescribing antibiotics, some in potentially dangerous combinations, and didn't even bother to run the appropriate lab tests. One vet prescribed a dangerous combination of antibiotics and the package insert for one stated that it should only be prescribed as a last resort given its high propensity to lead to antibiotic resistance (and the dog didn't even have a bacterial infection!) and it should never be used in combination. I referred a colleague of mine to Dr. Z as a last resort for his dog that hadn't been eating for months and was wasting away. His previous vet just kept prescribing more and more Rimadyl for arthritis the dog didn't even have. Dr. Z immediately recognized that the dog had severe dental issues and basically saved the dog's life as my colleague was very close to putting the dog out of his misery. It's 4 years later and the dog is happy and healthy thanks to Towne Sq. You know the old saying, you get what you pay for. Sure, it might be a bit more expensive upfront but ultimately I feel I save more money going to Towne Square because I get the right diagnosis the first time around, rather than paying repeatedly for months of misdiagnosis that could potentially be fatal. Dr. Z cares tremendously about animals and takes his job very seriously. He doesn't just rush in and out during visits, he takes his time thoroughly examining the animal and getting a complete picture of its medical history. His concern for animal health is further evident in the newsletters we receive routinely that are chock full of information and must take him a significant amount of time to write. Additionally he runs the non-profit United Pet Fund.

The doctor is very thorough and nice. The prices are higher but they are located in downtown Blue Ash. We had a death in the doggy family and they sent us sympathy card. They never hassled us about the cremation bill and they just waited for us.

Doctor Zekoff and his techs did an amazing job. I asked a lot of questions and they patiently answered all of them. They removed the tumor and stitched her back up like a plastic surgeon would have done. My dog came home later that same day acting as if nothing had happened. The wound healed without any complications. It was more than I could have hoped for. My dog is now 5 years old. From the time she was a pup, Dr Zekoff and his staff have been great with her.

I see them all the time. I have cats and dogs and they have various needs from just pet food to annual exams. Maybe I pay a little bit more but the service I get is incredible. I get an easier, straightforward advice, I feel like that the vets there have my animals best interest in mind and that means everything to me. To be honest, I've been with them for 17 years so I'm not sure what other vets are. They're clean and I don't have one negative thing I could say about them.

I was recommended to this office by 2 other people. The staff is very friendly and very open to questions. As this was our 1st family pet, I had many questions, so our first appointment was long. The vet and the staff were very open to all of my questions (and I never felt rushed). They also provided good resources of information for me to take home as well.
Subsequent to this visit, I had to call on at least 2 other occasions with questions and the staff has always been friendly and helpful and they always answer my questions. I would definitely recommend their services.

The exam and meds were very Expensive.The Frontline did not work though it had worked in the past, perhaps fleas in our area have developed a resistance or the formula has changed from previous years. We returned the unused samples. The manufacturer did not honor their warranty. The vet and I corresponded twice about the issue. Rather than resolving the problem, Townsquare told us bluntly to and quot;find another veterinarian.and quot; I cannot recommend this veterinarian or the Frontline product.

Over Memorial Day weekend our cat, Rascal, suddenly started struggling to breathe so we had to take him to the cat ER. They charged us $1300 and sent us home with a very sick cat. We thought we were going to loose Rascal and had prepared for the worst but it was Dr. Zekoff's expertise and patience that saved him. He consulted with us numerous times over the phone throughout a 48 hour period and encouraged us to stay the course with the medicine to see if Rascal would respond. If it weren't for Dr. Zekoff our much loved pet would be gone. We can't say enough good about him and his staff. They were amazing and kind through all of this. We have been to several vets in Cincinnati and Dr. Zekoff is the best, by far.

The primary veterinarian is the main reason we stopped going. He's extremely rude to the technicians from what we've observed. Additionally, we didn't find it professional that he would consistently inject his political views into our appointments, and also his newsletters. When we go to a vet we're interested in talking about our pets, not politics.

I like them a lot. They are very caring and they take their time. The vet will talk to me and she is very knowledgeable. They have drinks and I appreciate that. I have been going to them for years. They seem to be little expensive but I can't compare them to anyone as I don't know about others. They called several times to find how my cat was doing and I felt that was nice. It's run more like a doctor's office than a vet.

Dr. Zekeoff has always done a great job. I have a beagle that should have died years ago becuase she is so messed up and he has helped us greatly while keeping the cost down. He even got us a home nebulizer so we do not have to bring her in every time she gets a chest infection (several times a year) which saves us at least $1,000 a year.
