Excellent windows and company. Price was lower than comparable vinyl windows and the installation crew did an excellent job replacing 25 windows in about a half day. Professional install, good job caulking the new windows, cleaned up when finished, etc. Several days later we noticed several windows had a contaminant between the two layers of glass, and replacement windows were immediately ordered at no charge. Good communication on when the initial installation would occur, when replacements ready for scheduling installation, etc.

I am thrilled with their product and services. The NUVUE Work Crew showed up on time and did an excellent job removing and installing high quality windows. The team was well organized. They did a great job cleaning up after the job was complete. We like the quality and appearance of the windows. The windows are easy to open, close, and lock.

I was thrilled with their services. There were about 10 workers removing and installing the windows. They were so well organized. They were finished by 2pm which impressed me. What really impressed me was that one man caulked all the windows and did a great job. The windows are easy to open, close, lock and wash.

It's been running smoothly. They take care of everything, it's really been zero effort on my part. They are time efficient, always arrive on time, and do the installation quickly. I haven't had any issues with the windows. I've referred them to our neighbors and plan on using them for our doors as well.

Excellent costumer service from the beginning to the end of the purchase and installation process. The installation started in the morning as was completed by the afternoon. Very happy with the product and the personable customer service. I have a backdoor and two upstairs windows that also need to be replaced, I will reach out to them again.

They arrived about 8:15 and were finished by 3:00. Windows look great. We now have windows that actually open and close. Installers were very professional and worked well together.

The process was easy and the installation went smoothly. Several of the windows were not up to the standards of the installers and owner so they were sent back.....I'm not sure I would have noticed the flaw, but I'm grateful for their attention to detail. The installers were efficient and left my house just as they found it, with no mess for me to clean up. They also gave me the best bid. I would (and have) highly recommended them.

I contacted the company about my broken kitchen window and thought I'd have that replaced with a solarium window and get an estimate for the rest.   We ended up getting all windows replaced instead because we needed them badly and the price was great.  We held up painting in our newly purchased home until after the installation but honestly we didn't need to.   There was no damage to paint or drywall what so ever.   I can no longer hear the birds or crickets outside.    I'd recommend this company to anyone who needs windows.   We will be back for a patio door in the near future.

Windows were installed promptly and on date promised.  Staff was polite and communicated with my husband during installation. They cleaned up their mess and respected our property.  There was a small glitch with the screens on a few windows but they stood by their product and ordered new ones.

Mr. McCrackin (owner) made the sale. Had 3 others estimates before his appointment. Peter provided us with an excellent product display, written cost estimate, deliver and an installation date, which was kept.
Installers arrived early (7:30am) and started on time and was finished by 1:30am. There was a minute there when all the windows on one floor (2 story house) where all were out, and I was afraid of a bird or squirrel, or animal would get into the house. But that didn't happen.
I gave the company and excellent rating on the spot when finished. Some things I would suggest: men to wear those disposable shoe covers (going in and out house), bring a drop cloth, so as not to put there bucket or their drills, etc on furniture (did so on living room table and eat in kitchen table) and to check driveway for glass (had small pieces all over).
Overall a great job. we love our new windows and door.

Post-experience:
I recommended the service provider with excellent ratings because the work was done beautifully. Unfortunately after a couple of days one of the window trims was coming apart and we also had a patio door put in and the screen just gets stuck and you can't open the door. Both the window and door need to be fixed again. They mainly need to be planed on top and that's it. I've called the service provider's office five times as well as emailing them. After many attempted calls I actually had the owner come out to the house and I showed him exactly what the problem was and he said no problem. He also mentioned that no one has to be at the house in order to fix it and that they will fix it but that has not happened. I'd hate to take my A rating off for the service provider but I will if I can't get the issue resolved promptly.

We met with several different window company representatives and were most impressed with Peter McCracken, who also happens to be the owner of NuVue Windows. Peter was quite knowledgeable, and yet very patient with all our questions, especially so as we met with him early on in our search and as we learned more, we kept coming back to Peter. Peter communicated very professionally throughout the whole process and either he or someone on his staff always took our calls. We never left a voice mail.
The product that we chose through NuVue is manufactured in Ohio and meets all the criteria we were looking for in a window, including energy star ratings, Low E glass, low U factor, and lifetime warranty. The representative that measured our windows was fantastic, very friendly to both our children and pets. He showed up on time and worked very efficiently and accurately. Windows were delivered and installed within the exact time parameters promised by a very well equipped team. We are very pleased. Windows have great features, such has a hidden screen track that cannot be seen from the outside so it is not in the beating sun all day. Our son, who is 6, is able to open the windows (which we wanted him to be able to in case of fire), but they are not so easy as to pose a danger to a younger child.
We plan on finishing replacing our remaining windows before the end of the year and without a doubt will go with NuVue again. Very pleased!

peter McCracken ,the owner took a hands on approach with us with the order.the crew showed up punctually and were very professional.i think most or all of them have been with him for quite awhile.  we had five windows replaced,they did an excellent job and cleaned up nicely afterwards. we had a small issue with the caulking on one window which they fixed in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for replacement windows.

I am recommending NuVue because they did exactly what they said they'd do with no drama, no hidden surprises, ontime and on budget.  Gave me an all inclusive per window price upfront, came out and measured on the day they said they would, scheduled install, came out when they said they'd install, took out old windows and took them away, left with every window in place and working at the price they said.   Workers were polite and relatively tidy, disruption was minimal. Nothing had to be reordered or redone, no surprises, nothing left to finish later. 

A mistake was made when they ordered the windows, the grids were not there. They did install them so we could have the efficiency of the new windows and later replaced them.

Very smoothly. Most of the windows on the home were replaced and they did it within a day. There was very little prep or cleanup for us to do. Our windows are beautiful, matching the historic character of our home. It has made an incredible difference in our utility bills and comfort in our home.

I called because we needed 4 new sills/stools replaced and most likely 4 new windows. Our windows are cheap vinyl replacements from the early 90s. The windows are holding water in the bottom and the water is seeping into the corners causing rot in the wood stool. The owner took my call and immediately placed me on hold. When he returned to the call, it was apparent my business wasn't needed. He gave me the number of a carpenter who might be able to help. The carpenter may solve my wood rot problem but not the leaking window problem. I thought a window company would install windows AND replace window sills/stools. Regardless, the owner was rude and quick to pass me off to someone else.
