THE DOG JANITOR

We had this service for over 5 years and were fairly satisfied. We have a large yard and 5 dogs, so the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, last fall they just stopped coming. We tried calling and got no response. It was a very disappointing end to our experience with them.

They never showed and no follow up whatsoever on why from them!
Do not hire. They promised to do the job while we were on our honeymoon and I got absolutely no phone call, only a NO SHOW.

They were hired to clean dog waste from my yard at the end of 2010. During the winter months they often didn't show up which is understandable for those days that there was falling snow or heavy rain but there were several instances where there was old snow on the ground that they could have come and picked up the dog litter that was on top of the snow as their website says they do. They did not show up again today so I called them to see if they were going to come or not. Upon getting in contact with him he noted that my yard was to difficult and they would no longer be servicing my yard. I can appreciate that we do have a difficult yard due to the fact that one of our dogs has had chronic bowel issues. There were just recently diagnosed with pancreatic insufficiency and is now being treated. Had he called me ahead of time to let me know that until the situation improved with the dog they would not be able to service my yard I would have understood, but given the fact that he used poor business practice by not even having the courtesy to call me ahead of time, instead he chose to just "not show up". ONce the situation with my dogs medical condition clears up you can rest assured I will contact a different vendor for this service I certainly will not go back to Dog Janitor and would not recommend them.

THE OWNER AND AN ASSISTANT ARRIVED ON TIME AS PLANNED AND CLEANED THE YARD OF ALL DOG WASTE AND REMOVED IT FROM THE PROPERTY. I HAVE MULTIPLE DOGS SO THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AT MY HOME! THEY WERE FRIENDLY, POLITE AND GRACIOUSLY MET MY DOGS WHO ROMPED THE YARD FOR A FEW MINUTES. I HAVE CONTRACTED WITH THEM TO COME WEEKLY AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE!
