"Let me start off by saying we are very disappointed in this review. Before we had even started this job we had informed and demonstrated large pieces of sealer that had been caked on in the past nearly a half inch thick literally flaking from her driveway. I picked up a piece while she was standing there and handed it to her. I then explained to her that the very heavy layers of sealer applied in the past WILL continue to flake off even after we seal. She had seemed rather understanding of what I was telling her at the time. We explain to our customers the importance of not over sealing their driveways. You should not apply 2 coats every year.. You should only need 1 coat every 1 to 2 years when done properly with high grade materials such as brewer cote. Which is what we use. The next thing was her driveway was much larger than the deal she had purchased. While talking about that she made us feel bad for her talking about how she is a retired widow and cannot afford much, While at the same time started also talking about crack fill and how she could not afford that either. So being the nice guys that we are we gave her a discount on the sealing and over half off on her crack filling service. We also explained to her that the crack fill is only for the major cracks and can only do so much for the ones that are 2 or 3 inches wide. Again she seemed very understanding. So since she seemed to comprehend that her driveway was a disaster and we will do our best to help her get through for the time being. We decided to go ahead and help her out for much less than we should have on a driveway that should be torn out an replaced. Saying that we did not reply is complete lie. We had a few conversations about this with her. The first call she had made was that we broke her down spout (which isn't even on the driveway and would take a fraction of a minute to put back in place) and that her neighbor is a general contractor and that he had told her we had sealed the driveway too fast because it takes him hours to do one. Although while we were there this neighbor had explained to us that she is very cheap and likes to pay very little for anything. We had shown up a week or 2 prior to do her driveway and she had specifically asked us to come when she would not be in town. Turns out she travels a lot and the neighbor had explained how she had recently gone to china to see the great wall, She was enjoying another vacation while we were doing her driveway. Yet I felt bad for her and gave her money off her services. Then she puts up a horrible review. After her we will not seal driveways that have been ruined by other sealer companies nor will we crack fill cracks over an inch wide. To give you an idea of how much of a discount she had received her driveway should have been over $200 for sealing and then at a minimum $75 for crack filling. Her driveway is well over 100 ft long. She should honestly be ashamed of herself for posting this review! We are not "these people" either we have names. What kind of world is this when you call us these people and we respond with by calling you this lady ? Long story short nice house nice car going on vacations to places like the Great China Wall then ripping guys like us off with your stories of how broke you are while you are going to be on vacation during the time we are doing your driveway. Then go on to threaten a bad review if we do not make your cracks disappear and your old ruined driveway look new again? Oh and fix your down spout that appears to have fallen off?"
"Thank you"
"Always love working in Reynoldsburg great people"
"Thank you hope to hear from you in the future."
"Customers driveway was below the level of the surrounding ground. A large portion of his driveway had a layer of mud and dirt that had grass and weeds rooted into it. When he had contacted us he started playing word games with my employees who are not hired to play games so they are not normally good at that! I had to get involved and attempt to sort out the linguistic mess that was created to the best of my ability to still never regain it's true simplicity. Your yard and flower bed are at a higher level than your driveway. I think we gained somewhere around a foot of driveway moving back the dirt framing this driveway."
"Sorry about the miscommunication. Hope to hear from you in the future. Mention this message and I will extend a discount to you."
"Thank you"
