I took my dog in originally to a visiting vet at the hospital while the normal vet -  Dr. Stephanie McClure was on vacation.  Things did not go well with the visiting vet because of her unfamiliarity with my dog.  So I called Dr. McClure upon her return from vacation, and she resolved the issues.  I now have pet insurance for my dog that I am satisfied with.

Walk ins seem to be welcome and you can often see her right away without waiting. It's great to go to a vet and have that kind of service. She answered all my questions and did not make me feel rushed. She's so friendly and I have a lot of confidence in her.

Dr McClure of Bexley Animal Hospital is highly recommended for all the reasons listed above in and quot;what did the provider do?and quot; . She goes the extra mile to communicate and care for the patients and their pets. Her staff is welcoming and professional.

I took our very old dog to this new practice because of the Bexley location. What a great surprise! They showed us into the big dog room. My dog is always terrified up on the table. I didn't see the exam table. Dr. McClure let the dog stay on the floor and knelt down next to the dog. The most caring vet we have ever had. Dr. McClure went over all the meds the dog was on, asking many questions. It turned out the dog was being over medicated and the meds are actually causing kidney damage.
Dr. McClure even called me at home on Saturday to give me lab results and tell me to discontinue the medications.

The assistant is also great.

Our visit was half the price of our last vet in Gahanna, and we can walk to this office. The dog is happier and healthier, and we are saving a bundle!
