My main reason for this review is to let other consumers know that I have had nothing but positive experiences from this vendor. The former owners of my home used them, so I decided to keep using them. It has been about four years and my equipment, which was about 12-15 years old when I bought the home, has only had the expected problems. The service contract which they offer is definitely worth the peace of mind. This includes two preventative maintenance service calls per year. An appointment is set up in the Fall for the furnace, and the other in late Spring for your central air unit. I have met three different technicians over the years, and they have all been knowledgeable, punctual, and professional. I have yet to need a furnace/central air replacement, but my neighbor used them to replace their units a few months ago, and they could not be happier.

It went very well. My husband had an estimate from a co. that had put a flyer on our door. That person said that we had rust inside and needed a new furnace. The man from Donnelly,s asked if we smoked, we use to and he said that was from the smoke. We are very to have them as a company we will continue to take care of our heating/ac needs !!

I had no heat, so I called William Donnelly Furnace company to come out and repair my furnace and restore the heat. I had the company that installed the thermostat check, before hand, to make sure that it wasn't the thermostat that was the problem. The thermostat company indicated to me that there were two possible problems: the gas valve on the furnace might have been bad or something was wrong with the ignition. The Donnelly technician came and I indicated what the problem might be. He was here from 2:11PM to 5:30PM working apparently on repairing the system. The technician, left for over hour and fifteen minutes to get the necessary part. Before he left to get the part he indicated to me it was going to be $624.95 to repair the furnace. He came back and installed the part in approximately 5 minutes and gave me the bill. The bill was $79.00 for travel charges (which I can understand), $5.75 for fuel charges, $96.00 for labor (which I can understand), and $449.00 for the part. He did take off $40.80 for the senior discount. For a total bill of $624.95. After looking into the cost of the part (White-Rogers ignition control) I could have purchased it for $108.00. I called Donnelly and spoke to Vince. I explained to Vince that I had been working with them for 20 years and this bill seems a little high. Vince indicated to me that they are in the business to make a profit and offered to take 10% off, which he did. In the end I still feel like this bill is too high. I called around to other companies and found that they would charge only a 40% mark-up.

I love these guys. Cliff came on time, called on the way, was neat, clean and friendly. Spent about an hour checking my system asked about my presonal matinence schedule, advised me about it. He checked a possible leak in my condensate pump found real problem (not HVAC related). Checked the outside unit for pressure. I could probably find a cheaper company, but you get what you pay for. I paid for and recieved good service with this company. I will use them again, and will definatly ask for Cliff.

Donnelly Furnace did an excellent job from start to finish. The original inquiry call was answered promptly and the representative, Mike Murphy, quickly provided an estimate and answered all of our questions. The installation was efficient, and the crew working in our home were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. All of the work was done in one day. Our new furnace and A/C unit was matched to our specific requirements and thus our home has a temperature that is pleasant all year long, and our utility bills are much more reasonable. We did have trouble with the A/C coil this summer, but they came out quickly and diagnosed the problem (a very unusual defect in a part)and had us up and running again soon. I got a number of estimates for this complete new system, and Donnelly provided the best value and service for the price we paid. They are a Tirane dealer (highly rated by consumer reports). We are very happy and would highly recommend them.

They came about two or three hours after I called and came in right on the phone estimate. They were friendly, knowledgeable and provided me with a lot of information about the air conditioning operations and furnace also. It all took about an hour.

The repairman came very promptly after my call, even though it was during an extreme cold spell that must have caused a lot of requests for service. He was courteous and knowledgeable, explained the nature of the work, and installed the unit on the spot.

The gentleman, Michael Murphy, arrived earlier than our pre-set appointment. My husband and I had just returned home about two minutes before and I mentioned it was perfect timing. He said since he was early, he was prepared to wait if necessary. Mr. Murphy spent quite some time checking out our heating system, explaining things as he went, making suggestions about how to keep the system working most efficiently, answering all questions thoroughly. He ordered a minor, hard to find, part while he was here (no charge as the piece of equipment has a lifetime warranty). He refused any payment for his time. Before he left he requested we call in awhile to see if the adjustments he made helped with the comfort level throughout the house. There was no pressure, or even suggestion, to replace any equipment. If only all workmen had his ethics!

Their two techs were great quick, clean, efficient. They did take two days, but their was a lot to do and you can't rush perfection. They rehooked up my ac unit running new pipe for it since the ac install 4 years ago was sloppy. They also added freon to my furnace and that and the new pipe were at no additional cost. Their sheet metal work was very well crafted and all of the cables and hoses were run in a clean neat way. No sloppy job here. Thank guys.

When the technician arrived at my house I was trying to explain to him that I needed him to contact a family member first to discuss the problem with my furnace as they were better able to explain. The technician ignored my request, wasn't listening and treated me like I was a bystander to the whole process. He was NOT rude or nasty, just ignorant and oblivious to the fact that I was the customer and wanted him to talk to a family member before he started ANY work. I noticed that this company has had some incidents with customer service in the past. I went with a different company who had EXCELLENT regard for customer service and provided outstanding work for me.

I called them on Christmas day. They responded within an hour and had a technician at my home within another hour. Unfortunately, the part needed was unavailable and had to be ordered. They came back 1st thing Tuesday morning with the part. They charged me $278 for the part and only $100 for service. This included the emergency call on Christmas Day. I was very pleased with their emergency response and would definitely call them again.

MIKE MURPHY ARRIVED ON TIME AND DID A THOROUGH INSPECTION OF OUR CURRENT SETUP. HE ASKED US SEVERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR PLANS FOR INSULATION AND HOW LONG WE PLANNED TO REMAIN IN THE HOUSE. HE PROVIDED TWO QUOTES PER MY REQUEST. WE ARE STILL CONSIDERING MOVING TO A NEW HOUSE, SO WE HAVE NOT HIRED HIM YET, BUT DEFINITELY WILL IF WE DECIDE TO STAY IN THIS HOUSE.

THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY, ASKED A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT MY STRUGGLING AIR CONDITIONING. THE MAN TOOK ONE LOOK AT MY EXTERNAL A/C UNIT AND SAW THAT IT NEEDED TO BE CLEANED OUT. HE CLEANED IT WITH A BROOM, CHECKED THE PRESSURE AND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY THE VENTS IN MY HOUSE BEGAN BLOWING COLDER AIR. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH A VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR JOB, AND WAS THRILLED THAT I ONLY HAD TO PAY FOR A HOUSE CALL. RETURNED CALL PROMPTLY AND OFFERED SOME LESS EXPENSIVE OPTIONS TO EXISTING FURNACE PROBLEMS. ESTIMATOR CAME OUT AND DID MOST THOROUGH JOB OF THREE COMPANIES ASKED TO QUOTE ON REPLACING FURNACE. ON-TIME, REPLACED OLD FURNACE. POST FOLLOW-UP PROBLEMS WERE PROMPTLY CORRECTED. CANNOT, HOWEVER, EMPHASIS ENOUGH TO THOSE GETTING THEIR FURNACE OR ANY OTHER MAJOR ITEM REPLACED/INSTALLED IN YOUR HOME READ-READ-READ-READ THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION AND USER MANUALS BEFORE SIGNING OFF ON THE WORK. WE HAVE NEVER HAD A FURNACE INSULATED INITIALLY THE WAY IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE, INCLUDING THIS ONE.
