I took my ipad in as the screen was frozen. The man there explained that they might not be able to restore it. If not, they might be able to reset it to factory setting and I would lose all my data. Worst case, they might not be able to repair it and I would have to buy a new one. Not only did they fix the problem, it cost me $25 and it took only about twenty minutes. Very knowledgeable, patient and professional. They also wore masks and sanitized my ipad. These people are great. This would have taken a lot longer at the Apple store. Highly recommended Quadstar.

Evaluation of a totally non operating laptop machine. They worked hard to i) determine the machine's serial number, which had rubbed off the back; ii) detemine the warranty status with the Lenovo company; iii) price the repair (motherboard); iv) try a lesser, lower cost power unit replacement; v) transfer data to a USB HDD for migration to a new machine. Overall very professional, explaining each step along the way, and the realtive costs and benefits for repair options.

At first Quadstar thought its was a logic board, which is an expensive $800 fix. I authorized the repair, but when I brought it home, the problem soon returned. They took it back and after a few days determined the problem wasn't the logic board despite the fact that routine diagnostic tests supported that diagnosis. They put the old board back, reimbursed me and then went on a long and winding road trying to figure out the problem. Apparently, it was one of the rare situations where a few things were happening simultaneously. They were patient, diligent and responsive over the next week as they pieced the problem/solution together. After all of their effort, they only charged about $200 for the repairs. They could have thrown in the towel, but they didn't. I truly appreciate their effort and professionalism throughout the process.

I got an excellent machine and got to keep all my information. It works perfectly now. They did it in a timely fashion.

A MINOR GLITCH DUE TO DRIVE SUPPLIER NOT PUTTING A REQUIRED WASHER IN THE INSTALL PACKAGE. PAUL FROM QUADSTAR IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED SUPPLIER AND THE REQUIRED WASHER WAS FEDEX OVERNIGHT AND UPGRADE WAS COMPLETED. PAUL CALLED ME FOUR TIMES ADVISING ME OF THE STATUS OF THE UPGRADE AND DETAILS INVOLVING THE MISSING WASHER. I WAS TREATED VERY PROFESSIONALLY AND QUADSTAR DID WHAT THEY PROMISED TO DO AT THE PRICE THEY QUOTED. THE UPGRADE WAS PERFORMED PROMPTLY UPON RECEIPT OF THE REQUIRED PART.

I HAVE USED THEM ONCE FOR A PRINTER AND ONCE FOR A COMPUTER. I CALLED ONCE TO MAKE AN APPT. TO BRING THE COMPUTER IN AND THE TECHNICIAN WAS HONEST ENOUGH TO TELL ME THAT I COULD DOWNLOAD THE PROGRAM MYSELF AND THIS WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM. (MACINTOSH)
