With only 999 characters? Here it goes; 1. Measured 2 times and still got 1 window 10" too small. 2 seperate guys, 2 different days. project team did not question different measurements when putting in production to make windows. No QA/QC process. 2. The detailed install process did NOT occur. NO tarps/cloth/plastic. Dust & dirt everywhere. Cleanup was laughable with a tiny hose vacuum. 3. Windows are NOT sealed across the bottom. Despite detailed install described, install did not seal bottom of window to frame/sill. NO insulation between window and frame/sill. wind blowing in under window! 4. communicated issues to salesman. Second install day, same install crew, took NO responsibility for bugs getting into house and admitted not sealing windows as this was their SOP. 5. Waiting on 3rd install day to resolve factory deformity in window frame. 6. No customer service, no resolution. Not worth the hassle.

We love our new walk-in shower. We had Nick 1 and Nick 2 do the work for Joyce Factory Direct and we can not say enough about their work. Now these two were very professional and the workmanship is impactable. They are very dedicated to their work, and the cleanup was just as good as the work they did. Try this company out and ask for Nick 1 and Nick 2, you will not be disappointed. Don't forget to ask for Dave (salesman) for your remodeling needs Herb & Robin Salle

Here is a summary of what occurred and why we will never give a positive review for Joyce Factory Direct: Salesperson took the order and we were clear as to what we wanted. Two walled sides and two glass sides with the longer length having the sliding door.White pan with the marble-looking walls. Matte black frame and shower head. When the final doc came for me to confirm, the pan was marble. I said no, I explicitly wanted white pan and an adjusted doc came my way. Then, salesperson called to say we cannot have matte black frame as it doesn't exist. I asked why was it offered then? No response. I was forced into a decision and opted for frame and shower head in brushed nickel. Another doc was sent and I accepted the adjustments This occurred JANUARY. We were contacted in March for installation to occur. The installers came and started demolition on March 20. Thank goodness I was home to witness the ceiling in my kitchen start to crumble because of the sledge hammer they were using on the shower floor. So, now I am left with a poorly patched kitchen ceiling that will now need to be sanded and repainted. This was never in my plan for added time or cost. The installers also questioned the glass wall on the order as the pan that was delivered was for a solid third wall, not glass. We were adamant we had requested the glass wall and it was on the order. DELAY now until a new pan was ordered. Everything put on hold until April 10. So, at this point, we are now almost 4 months into what we were told would be 48-72 hrs project at most once materials came in. April 10th comes around and shower install occurs only to realize the shower frame is MATTE BLACK which I was told was not an option and the shower fixture was brushed nickel. Mind you we had purchased the remaining accessories for the bathroom based on the BRUSHED NICKEL that we were forced to choose. So, again, more time and cost to correct all of this. Finally, upon using the shower, it leaked tremendously which has since been resolved. I suggest that anyone considering using this company pause before doing so.

Where do I start? Let’s start with "do not patronize JFD!" I found JFD on Angie’s List and have had success with companies from Angie’s List in the past. We were in dire need of a new shower and reached out to JFD. Unfortunately, we wish we would have contacted someone else. Everything seemed to go smoothly until approximately one week after installation. We noticed water dripping onto our basement floor. I called a local plumber who could not find the origin on the leak and recommended I contact another company who successfully diagnosed the leak. After 4 hours or so, the company determined the leak was coming from our newly installed third floor bathroom. Never did we think for a second the leak would be from our brand-new bathroom. As a result, the walls in my home were opened to allow blowers to dry out the inside of our walls and prevent the risk of further mold & mildew. Additionally, our kitchen backsplash was ruined, as was our built-in stovetop (currently sitting on makeshift 2x4 legs). I have sent emails and called both the V.P. & President of the JFD to express my displeasure & request restitution and have received minimal to no response. So, in addition to having to pay full price for a subpar install, we are on the hook for $4,500 from the company that rectified the error. This does not include whatever costs we will pay to update our kitchen, too. Due to the faulty installation, my family has been through an absolute nightmare & JFD could care less! I would only recommend this company to someone if I really disliked them!

Review: We started out in Dec.2019 looking to enclose a front porch (deck). We ended up remodeling our entire bathroom in July 2020. The salesman (Rick *****) was outstanding. All the office people worked well with us when the Covid-19 struck.. But a HUGE THANK YOU to the installers Dave and his son Bailey.. It took them 5 days to do the job.. I've never seen a more METICULOUS, ORGANIZED, ATTENTION TO DETAIL pair in my life. I was apprehensive at first because of the scope of the job.. But after a couple hours I knew I was in good hands Dave and Bailey.. I could list about 100 more positive examples of their work but Joyce Factory Direct should be THANKFUL to have them. The end result was utterly amazing.. A new shower + sink. Along with a complete tear out of the bathroom walls. I almost don't want to use them they look to nice to disturb. THX again JFD any future projects you'll be the first I'll call for a quote... :)

Not well. The projects were misrepresented, poor communication, several problems with both projects. The problems were not fixed. There were problems with billing.

The work done was beautiful. My only complaint is the original sales person told us we would have the work done within 3 weeks of the installer taking measurements--which he said would happen within the week. The installer was scheduled about 2-3 months out which was not communicated at the time of purchase. It took a while to get the work done but once done it was a fabulous job. They also installed shower doors that I purchased myself, which were 300 lbs.

From the time we contacted Joyce Factory Direct to the end of installation of our windows everything went very smoothly. The salesman came within a few days of our call. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and even matched the price of another company we were considering. Our windows were ready earlier than expected and we set an appointment for installation date for after we returned from our vacation. Matthew and Caleb arrived on time and started to work immediately. They covered all areas around the windows and explained what they were going to do. They were courteous and friendly and even my dogs loved them! They finished the job in one day and cleaned up like they were never there. Joyce Factory Direct is a great company with good quality products. We will definitely use them again for our next home project.

At the Cleveland Flower Show, I found many window people selling replacement windows.  I invited almost all of the company representatives to my home for an estimated cost.  Being a widow, I was nervous about this project since I know nothing about windows.  I chose Joyce Factory Direct mainly because they are a family business.  They make their own windows and have been in business for many years.  I asked for a Certificate of Insurance before installation and promptly got one.  The office girls were friendly and polite.

The Joyce Window installation team was absolutely wonderful!  There was no reason to worry.  Two fellas named Matt and Corey were the installers.  They spent a whole day removing the old casement windows and installed the new slider windows.  I could not have asked for a better team to install these windows.  They explained what they were going to do, put down large painting covers and installed the windows.  In addition, they "capped" my two front picture windows.  The picture windows needed sanding and painting very bad.  I hate to paint!!  On the outside, my home now looks beautiful.  When Matt and Corey were done with the installation and capping, they explained how to work the new windows.  They also did a total clean-up.  You would never know I had windows installed that day.  There was not a speck of dirt or dust when they left.  They also did me the favor of taking the old windows away.  I cannot praise these two men (Matt & Corey) enough for the excellent job they did!

Would I recommend Joyce Factory Direct?  Yes, indeed!  They were fast, efficient, and arrived on the date given.  No problems.  The most important thing is they measure and make the windows at their factory in Berea, OH.  No outside contractor is involved.  Great job!!

JFD performed this job in a professional manner and "soldiered" through some difficult unpredictable situations.   We are completely satisfied with the results as this new room has added a "wow factor" to our home.

What I appreciated most about the company's representative (Jay) is he explained what we should seek in new windows so that we could properly vet other providers. The far and away best price quoted to us (by nearly HALF as expensive!) was Joyce, and I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the cleanup. Given the age of our home, lead remediation was a must. They answered my incessant questions politely, and really knew their windows. I very much recommend you skip other window presentations (we did 2 others and they were long and dreadfully painful, stereotypical sales presentations), and hire Joyce today.

Windows are in so that is a good thing... I think they are coming back to finish the aluminum wrap on bay window sill. There is an open gap between layers of sheeting. It look unfinished . I asked installer about it and he saidd I am not finish...I assumed it was taken care but ..not so.
I had trouble communicating with the company and getting details about what work they were providing. The sales man promised the wood around the bay window waas to be taken care of. I trusted him . But after thinking about it I wondered what that meant. I have asked many times for an explanation and was told not to worry. I asked salesman, office personall and measured. IExpressed my concern in multiple emails... Never got a direct Answer
Although they were very quick to point out I had signed a contract and they would take legal action against me if I backed out of contract...
Friday the installer arrived with lumber so I thought it would fixed. But.. He then said the wood was sound . He suggested wrapping the window sill and the bottom portion of the bay window. I agreed. Then when I went out to check how the job was coming along.. He said he was not going to do that. He would have to talk to someone at the company...I pointed out areas that were rotten ..instilled said you can put wood putty over it.
The windows are ok but the outside looks terrible. Honestly, I feel like crying. It looks terrible. It was not cheap my any means.. I expected to more.
The first disappointment is the companies refusal to communicate what was going to be done and next is the end product. The third is that the color was wrong... There is no window in my interior that is beige /ttan and my woodwork is white. I spoke the salesman at great length. When he read order. Back to me he said beige /tan in and out - I said NO want white inside. He replied That Is right. White... my mistake. I him writing so I thought he corrected it. What did I get beige/tan IN and Out. My Own own stupidity I suppose so I accepted the wrong color just to get the encounter over with.

Yet I am still puzzled Why they never would answer my questions before the job started. I would have known what to expect.

My guess is because they knew they would do as little as possible ... I am widow who is having her 1st experiences of purchasing services on my own.

All and all I feel played..

Hope if you use them all goes well
