+ 1 moreVery pleased with the quality of Dave's work and the entire process. Dave was very responsive from the beginning when he returned my initial call. Some contractors don't want to mess with smaller jobs but Dave took it on and we are glad we found him for future projects!
Description of Work: mostly trim repair work, hanging new doors, realigning doors, ceiling repair. Painting on these areas.

Description of Work: I've used Dave for projects in my home for years. With the exception of the furnace, there is no project (big OR small) he won't tackle. Some of the projects he's done for me over the years include kitchen tile backsplash, adding solid oak to kitchen cupboards/island, building fireplace surrounding, replacing shingles, replacing top of hot tub enclosure, installing all new kitchen appliances, fixing garage door opener, replacing outdoor lamp post sensor, installing outdoor decorative lights to the front of my house. I'm sure there's more. For this last job, he replaced and grounded my hot water heater, replaced 2 toilets, fixed a sticky door, and removed some old caulking. I think sometimes his prices are a tad high, but I trust that he'll get the job done quickly and accurately, and I trust him in my home when I'm not there. And that goes a loooong way with me! I'm happy to refer Dave to friends and family.

+ 2 moreAll of our dealings with Dave have been very positive. He has always been professional. The work was always done promptly. The work has always been high quality with attractive pricing. He demonstrates a true pride in his work. His breadth of experience in demonstrated in fixing a variety challenging problems in our older home. Example, the exhaust in a first floor bath was vented (?) between the joists. Dave upgraded it so it vented to the outside of our home. This work entailed adding 'real' ducts to the exhaust fan, cutting small pieces of drywall in the ceiling to facilitate the ducts, adding a vent on the outside of the home, repairing the ceiling drywall, and refinishing the ceiling. We have thanked the tradesman who recommended Dave to us on multiple occasions.
Description of Work: Dave has done a variety of home improvement projects for us over the past several years. These have included electrical repairs, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, updating lighting, installation of a sump pump battery backup, improving bathroom ventilation, installing sky lights, upgrading a dark basement room into a bright contemporary 'Mom Cave'.
