Tech knew what the problem probably was so narrowed the area down and found it quickly. He also got my sump pump, which was what alerted us to an issue, working again.

I recently had Lamp Electric do some work in my home and I cannot express how happy I am with the service I received from this company. After having a less than satisfactory experience with another local electrician, I began searching for another company to do my work and I found Lamp Electric. I called their business on a Monday, and Tom Lamp stopped by the same day to provide me an estimate for the work I needed done. I was happy with the estimate and scheduled a day for the work to be completed about 10 days out due to my work schedule. 1 week prior to the appointment, they had a cancellation and asked if I would be interested in doing the appointment a week early, and I agreed. The crew who came to my home, (Eb and John), were very polite, professional, and friendly. They worked throughout the day to replace my electric meter, perform an electric panel upgrade, and install two new lights on the exterior of my home. They completed the work, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure everything was working prior to leaving. They resolved the issue I was having that forced me to replace the meter and I have not had any issues since they performed the work. They did such a good job I asked them to return the following week to replace and install a new light, and wall dimmer switch in my kitchen. Like before, they were polite, friendly, and professional and did an excellent job on the installation. These guys are great and I will certainly use their service again in the future if I need additional electrical work completed. You won't be disappointed if you choose Lamp Electric. Wonderful! Tom and Tim remedied certain problems that now allow me great comfort and cost savings.

We were able to schedule next day service when we called.  Andy and his apprentice came in for the estimate with booties on their feet (they were very conscientious about our property and protecting it in all matters).  They gave a price from their flat-rate book.  We accepted.  They got right to work (we had asked the company to block off the time so that they could do the job immediately when we scheduled, if we agreed to the price).  They were very polite, professional, and efficient.  They had to cut through plaster and maneuver around obstacles.  They cleaned up and showed us how they labeled the breaker box (which nobody had ever done previously).  They answered all our questions and we are extremely happy we called them and would do so again.

It turned out really well. I was very happy. They were polite, clean and did what they said they were going to do. It was kind of expensive but since it's electrical work, I'd rather pay.

The service was excellent. Brad Hickey was very professional, knowledgable, and thorough. Once the service was complete, he even took the packaging and debris with him to dispose of. Brad even performed a complete electrical review of my home offered free of charge by Mr. Electric. He found a safety issue that I need to address and made a couple of other recommendations. I will request Brad by name for all of my future electrical needs!

The work turned out okay. I thought I was getting copper wire and they put in aluminum. I talked with the city inspector and he said they it was perfectly okay. However, that is not what I paid for.They did a great job coordinating with the electric company, turning off the power, and getting the correct permits. They estimated the work to take about eight hours, but it only took five. They did provide me with a copy of their BWC certificate and their insurance. They did a great job.

We are very pleased with the service! We didn’t get any other estimates, but I think that their price was fair. They were very professional and very good in what they did.

Tom came to give an estimate right away and provided two estimates and his opinion/experience with two types of generators.  It took us a while to get another quote and research the generators.  Tom was persistent, and professional, with follow-up.  When we did schedule the work, we had to wait for the generator to be built.  While waiting, the new panel was installed and the wiring done.  The guys who installed the generator were super...very friendly, hard working, and tidy.  Before they left, they ensured that the system was working properly and showed me how to check and operate it.  Everyone we have worked with, in the office and in the field, has been a pleasure to do business with.

He was professional and personable. The pricing was fair and competitive. I would call them again and I think using someone again is the highest compliment I can give any professional. It is a great piece of mind to know the work done was reliable and trustworthy. He was kind and courteous.
