Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center

I've been using them for 25 to 30 years. They are pretty consistent. They are not the cheapest but their work is consistent. I've had a few situations that I wasn't totally satisfied but I take it back and they take care of it. They have a 6-month famous cash deal to accredit first the National Association. On big purchases, I can stretch it out. It truly helps. They are pretty expensive. I am satisfied. I keep going back there. I am happy with them. They have shops all over Dayton area and Columbus, Ohio. I've been pretty happy with the shop near our house. I also used one of their outlets when I worked downtown. It was more convenient and I was also happy.

They are awful!

This is the only local service provider that I will use. They always do a good job, and stand behind their work. Never had any problems with them.

bought groupon, upgraded to 100% synthetic. no issues

replaced tire giving me various options. while there they also examined car overall and made recommendations for future repairs. No high pressure to get them done, gave me list and cost they would charge for each, and ranked each as to priority. Will save up to do each of items, either using them or my son-in-law, if he is available.

I have had work done by Grismer's for years and trust their suggestions and work. I never feel like I'm never taken advantage of with my lack of mechanical knowledge.

It was good. I got a rebate for the tires. My daughter uses them all the time.

My son's '02 Ford Focus needed front struts and new tires. I had the Struts done at Paul's Garage, then took the car for the tires to Grismer. This Ford Focus has 16" tires that are very hard to find at a reasonable cost. Grismer replaced the 4 of them at a fairly reasonable cost that included 4 free oil changes (for any car - coupons that never expire), and this price also included a 4-wheel alignment. The alignment took longer than desired, but the guy who did was pretty "anal" (as the front desk guy said) about his alignments. In looking at the spec sheet afterward, you'd be hard pressed to get a more exact alignment (balanced readings between sides and front to back. Thrust angle was dead on as was the toe, caster, and camber. The difference in driving the car was like night and day. It was like a whole new car! I'm not sure how they do on other repairs but this one was excellent. The shop offers free WiFi if you wait there.

They switched me to a different brand of tire from the ones I was considering.The threads on the valve stems were a bit chewed up from installing them with a pliers instead of useing the proper tool.I was emphatic that I wanted the wheel allignment only if it was free but when I picked up the car there was a charge of over $50 for a four wheel allignment on a 2 wheel drive Toyota.The free oil changes required a long wait. The tires wear like iron and ride like iron as well as being noisy. I had them balanced several times which seens to be a temporary fix. The last time I had them ballanced was at Discount Tire at 8141 Springboro Pike. I had bought tires from them in the past and have done business with them since my experience with Grismer.

Well only down side is mechanics smell like soke. Otherwise great

This facility provides efficient service in a reasonable amount of time.

Back brakes were hanging up and engaging while foot was off the brake pedal. Grismer replaced the back brake shoes and drums which promptly burned up. Grismer replaced the shoes a second time again at full charge. These brakes also promptly burned up. I went to Phil's Automotive which replaced the brakes for the third time. Phil pointed out the parking brake cable was out of adjustment. He adjusted the cable and the problem was solved. Grismer would not refund the money and do not guarantee their repairs.
