Terrible! Owner Steve Carter called at 6pm Monday wanting to pour a patio the next morning. What contractor gives you this kind of extremely short notice? A crappy one for sure. The owner, Steve Carter, then said he would do it Thursday or Friday which would give me time to prepare. Not a word from him for a month! Are you kidding me? By this time, it was colder and rainier and asked him to complete the patio using cold weather concrete protection and for him to be on-site to ensure it was completed correctly and HE REFUSED! He actually blamed me for rescheduling after he literally gave me two hours notice that he would be on my property the next morning. Another local contractor that Im using actually said he was fine to work with, which is why I decided to hire Carter Concrete. Unfortunately that contractor is now eating his words because he had work to do after the concrete was poured and now he's stuck with a product he can't install do to this dishonest Steve Carter not doing what he said he would. And hey, now I have to wait months over the winter until I can get it done by another contractor. Thanks a lot Steve. HOMEOWNER BEWARE!

Work was done in two days. Very pleased with the results.

Steve Carter is most reachable by cellphone (call or text). He's slow to respond if busy.

Once arrangements were made, he sent us a written estimate, with options. we x-ed out a couple of items, accepted the rest, scanned and emailed to him (with a text msg to him to check his email!). We sent up a date by phone and he and his crew showed up promptly on the first day. the removal took one day (all waste removed). Pouring took 1-1/2 days and looks great.

Speed is fast because he has big enough crew. Crew members were all courteous and considerate.

Steve directly supervised crew on all days of work.

Think we got better price because several neighbors contracted at the same time, lowering his costs as well as he did not have to move his heavy equipment to distant site.

If we decide to get the x-ed out options at later date, will definitely use this business.

The owner who gave me the estimate was very professional. The actual cost did come in above the estimate. This was because the original driveway was not installed correctly. Before they did any additional work, they did show me what needed to be done for a proper installation. The crew was also very professional and did an excellent job. We continue to receive compliments. We have actually received a compliment from a concrete company who was doing some work for the city.

They have a very good reputation and do a very good job. I've been dealing with them before I joined Angie's List so that was back in 2012 when I last used them. The job costed me about $5300 and they did a good job.

The price was competitive with other quotes we received. The work was done quickly and well. Steve explained all our options to us very clearly. Our driveway is 1950 square feet, and we have had no problems with it.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS REALLY GOOD. IT WAS FRUSTRATING THAT IT TOOK SO LONG. I GUESS THAT IS PRETTY NORMAL WHEN WORKING WITH CONTRACTORS. THE FINISHED PRODUCT FIT THE PRICE.
