A portion of one of our electrical circuits was working intermittently. Several light fixtures and outlets were dead, but they would occasionally come back to life. I am a fairly good and quot;do-it-yourselverand quot; troubleshooting electrical issues, and I could not figure out where the problem was located.
BAT Electric was highly recommended by staff at a local hardware store, so we called them. They were able to come out to our house within a few days. Robert Battigaglia arrived at the scheduled time, with his older son assisting. He asked about all of the troubleshooting I had done, then began testing connections and wires in the problem area. They ultimately found a broken wire in the attic. They quickly replaced the line and got everything working again.
They were very professional, were able to quickly find the problem, and resolved the issue without any trouble. Despite having to crawl into the attic (on a host July afternoon!) everything was cleaned up when they left. I will definitely call them again for any future electrical work.

Our realtor recommended this contractor and worked with him to get the job done. As a result, we did not actually interact with him face to face. He was hired to install GFI outlets, but we found out after he had done his work that he also replaced our service entrance mast. The total cost may have been reasonable for the work that was done, but it was a shock at three times the original estimated cost of his work. We were not called before the additional work was done. With that said, the work seemed to be done decently enough. However, after having other contractors come out, several of them have indicated that the mast was not even installed properly and up to code. We have had good luck with the GFI outlets, though. We have had additional electrical work done to our satisfaction by other contractors since that time, so we will likely not be calling this contractor back.
