Service-Tech Corp. first came and gave a quote for the job. The representative also discussed the details of the service. While their price was higher than other companies I had looked at, the description of the service seemed to go beyond what most companies were doing to clean my duct-work. I called and made an appointment the following week. Available times were very convenient; although, my days are fairly open.
My appointment was at 9 am on a Tuesday, and the crew showed up around that time. There were 3 men in the crew. one worked downstairs in the furnace, one worked from upstairs, and the last man cleaned all the vent covers. A forth man showed up about 1 hour into the work. He worked on the inside of the furnace to clean the blowers/fans. He took everything apart, cleaned and reassembled the system. The whole service went from about 9 am to noon. The ran the heater and gave everything a quick last inspection.
They did a good job of keeping me informed about the progress. No issue arose during the service. Every member of the crew was polite and did not have a problem with me looking over their shoulder.
I will use this company again.
