THE ROOF WAS TAPPED OFF BUT THE RAIN WAS STILL COMING THROUGH. I CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY AND DISCOVERED IT WAS NOT THE ROOF BUT THE CHIMNEY THAT WAS LEAKING. I GAVE THIS COMPANY A $900 DEPOSIT FOR THE WORK AND WAS TOLD I WOULD GET IT BACK. THIS WAS 10 MONTHS AGO. I HAVE CALLED HIM NUMEROUS TIMES BUT STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY MONEY BACK. WE HAD AGREED UPON THE REFUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $500 BACK. THE REST OF THE MONEY I WAS GOING TO USE TO PAY HIM FOR HIS TIME.
Description of Work: AN ESTIMATE TO REPAIR WHAT WAS THOUGHT TO BE A LEAKY ROOF.

I BELIEVE THE MEMBER IS MISTAKEN ABOUT THE FACTS OF OUR BUSINESS TOGETHER. THE ENCLOSED DOCUMENTATION SHOWS THAT SHE SIGNED A $2,500 CONTRACT WITH RICHARDS ROOFING AND PAID A DEPOSIT OF $835.00. I DID INDEED PERFORM WORK AT HER HOUSE ON FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS. SHE CANCELED SCHEDULED MEETINGS THREE TIMES CAUSING DELAYS IN MY SCHEDULE. I AM THE INDIVIDUAL WHO, WITH HER PRESENT, CUT A HOLE IN HER INTERIOR WALL, CLIMBED INTO THE CAVITY THIS CREATED AND OBSERVED WATER DRIPPING FROM THE TOP OF THE CHIMNEY, CORRECTLY DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM AND SUGGESTING THAT SHE CONTACT A MASON. I HAVE RETURNED EVERY PHONE CALL SHE HAS MADE TO ME AND DO WANT TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE, BUT ALSO BELIEVE I AM DUE COMPENSATION FOR MY TIME.
