PHIL SIDOTI LANDSCAPE CORP

I met with Phil Sidoti (Philco Farms Landscape Nursery) last spring to set up a landscape maintenance contract for our home. He responded promptly and came to our home to give an estimate in a timely manner. He brought a great book filled with examples of his work. We signed a contract with him for the above mentioned services. He gave a 5% discount if we paid in full up front, which we (unfortunately) did. The spring clean up was performed as contracted and after that, things pretty much fell apart. Routine bed maintenance was definitely not routine. We had to call him numerous times to come out and weed our beds. Pruning basically didn't happen. I have to pay a new landscaper a large sum of money this year to prune our shrubs and trees because they were basically ignored last season by Mr Sidoti's crew. The "lawn care program" we paid for was so horrible it would have been better to call it the "lawn don't care program". Again, we had to call him to come out on numerous occasions to deal with the weeds growing in our lawn because clearly nobody had been out to look at the lawn. Fall clean up was terrible. Again, we had to call him to come back to clean up leaves numerous times because the fall clean up was done too early. There was limited cutting back of plants and shrubs. They definitely issed a lot! I felt we had to call Mr Sidoti too many times with too many complaints of ignoring our yard. Work was not done particularly well when it was done. Although Mr Sidoti is a very nice man, I would not recommend the use of his landscape company.
