Hardwood Flooring Service
OVERALL, WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE, WE WOULD NEVER REHIRE. THE INSTALLERS WERE EXTREMELY SLOPPY IN THEIR WORK. THEY TOSSED OLD CARPETING OUT THE BEDROOM WINDOWS ONTO FRONT YARD BUSHES BELOW. THEY LEFT THEIR FOOD, CUPS, AND OTHER TRASH IN THE ROOMS. THE FLOORS, ONCE LAID, ACCORDING TO THE FLOOR MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS, WERE TO HAVE BEEN WIPED CLEAN OF GLUE WITHIN A FEW HOURS. THE WORKERS IGNORED THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY. ONCE THE FLOORS WERE FINISHED, THE GLUE WAS SO DIFFICULT TO REMOVE, THAT I SPENT DAYS CLEANING AND RECLEANING. FINAL SELECTION DID COME BACK OUT TO TRY AND CLEAN THE FLOORS, BUT THEY WERE NOT SUCCESSFUL. SOME RESIDUE STILL REMAINS. THE MOST STRESSFUL PART OF THE EXPERIENCE WAS THAT THE COMPANY OWNER WAS BELLIGERENT TOWARD US. HIS ATTITUDE LEFT ME NOT WANTING HIM OR HIS CREW BACK IN MY HOUSE, SO I SPENT DAYS TRYING TO CLEAN THE FLOORS MYSELF.
