The entire experience was excellent. We had a plan (from an independent kitchen designer) but went to Babin because of the number of cabinet lines they carry. We had a great experience working with Adam Abrams to find the best cabinet line for our plan and budget. Adam was very knowledgeable and patient as we worked through all of the options, was very responsive throughout the process, and double checked everything (even catching a measuring error from our original plan) before placing the final order. The cabinets were delivered right on time and Babin did an excellent job working with the manufacturer to resolve two minor issues (replacing a door that was damaged in shipping and a finish problem on some trim pieces) after the delivery. The cabinets look even better than we expected (and we were able to save several thousand dollars thanks to Adam's advice).

In short, working with Babin was a horrible experience and we recommend everyone to avoid them at all costs. We went to Babin after looking at several stores for cabinets and having a good plan in mind of what we wanted to accomplish with our kitchen remodel. Our first impression of Babin was favorable, and we were initially impressed with our sales person and the selection available. They recommended a contractor for us to work with, helped refine our plan and ordered our cabinets. After they had our deposit of 50% in hand the experience turned horrible. First the contractor they recommended who was "extremely experienced" and one they used "often" was horrible. We take some of the responsibility in believing in whom they recommended, but we figured a company who supposedly does kitchen design and remodeling and cabinet sales would know a good contractor and we had just moved to the area. Unfortunately for us he was horrible, and we let him go about three quarters through this remodel for damaging several of our pieces, not properly installing pieces, unsafe electrical work, and just plain sloppy work. Second, the design they did for us had several mistakes in it, to include the hood and fan area above the stove and several of the pieces being the wrong size etc. Once realized, we called Babin several times to order appropriate pieces or new ones that came damaged. Only after several calls not being returned or just returned only to our contractor they finally ordered our parts. They had a blatant disregard for our situation and seemed to busy to deal with our "problems." To make it even better, the parts they ordered were wrong again so we had to deal with another delay and basically harass them into ordering our parts for a third time. It has now been several months and my wife and I feel we have been more than understanding and overly patient. Our experience culminated today with my wife going down to Babin to pick up what we thought would be our final pieces which were again wrong. In all fairness to Babin, some were wrong due to the manufacturer but some due to Babin ordering the wrong pieces. My wife, 5 months pregnant with our two year old son accompanying her, basically left in tears after the so called owner wouldn't listen to her concerns and was completely lacking in empathy for our situation and the position we were in. He made one comment to the effect of "so this has been a horrible experience" but didn't even follow it up with an apology. Now we have another contractor who is being delayed due to their errors and it is costing us even more money. In conclusion, if that is the kind of customer experience you get from the owner, imagine the rest of the organization. We recommend everyone to stay away from Babin and do not fall into the same trap we did. It has now been several months into this remodel and this has been the worst experience we have ever had.

EXPLAINED EACH STEP OF THE JOB, THEY HAD THE BEST PRICES AND PAT SHOOA DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN HELPING TO PUT THIS PROJECT TOGETHER.

BABIN WORKED CLOSELY WITH CONTRACTOR AND MEMBER & PROVIDED ALL CABINETS, ETC. REAL TEAMWORK, HELPED COMPLETE WORK EASILY AND ON TIME.

HELPED DESIGNED THE CABINETS, THE PRICES WERE BETTER THAN ANY OTHER COMPANIES WE TRIED ALSO BOUGHT APPLIANCES THRU THEM. WHEN THE COUNTER TOPS WERE PUT IN THEY FIT PERFECT ALLOWING THE APPLIANCES TO BE PLACED WITOUT ANYPROBLEMS.THEYCOMMUNICATE & COORDINA

DESIGNED KITCHEN. VERY GOOD, EASY TO WORK W/. THEY DESIGNED KITCHEN W/O A FEE ON TERMS THAT ALL SUPPLIES NEEDED WOULD BE PURCHASED THROUGH THEM.
