It did not go good, cobwebs still on walls, cabinets tops not cleaned, picture frames not cleaned, window sills not done, just not cleaned properly,

I just used the maids for the first time. I was quoted the price of between $149 and $298 for a deep cleaning, an estimated time of 2 hours. I waited excitedly for them to arrive. The three women arrived in the little yellow car, carrying cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner. My daughter and I left for awhile and when we returned we were shocked! We could see no difference between before and after not even the smell of the cleaning supplies they brought with them. How it took three women 2 hours to clean the bathtub, bathroom sink, and vacuum 3 rooms is beyond me. In the kitchen they cleaned one half of the sink and piled the dirty dishes in the other half as well as the dish rack. Had they actually cleaned my house I was prepared to use them weekly....no way. This service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! To make matters worse and even more insulting they left a bill on my dinning room table for (get this) $321.84....I was fuming! I agreed to pay for one hour $149, but I also get the privilege of writing this review. Did I read the reviews before I hired them you may ask. Yes, I did. However based on my experience, in my opinion those raving reviews are fake. Take it from me DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON "THE MAIDS". They are a disgrace to legitimate cleaning services!!!

Welp, literally the worst. Let me explain... When I originally called, I asked for a "deep clean" quote on my 1,000 sq. ft apartment. I was informed that it would be 135/hr for a 3 person team, minus my 50 dollar coupon advertised in their Google Paid Ads. Great, sounds good. Cleaning day comes and goes, I come home from work and there's DUST EVERYWHERE. They did do a good job cleaning the floors and vacuuming; but here's the kicker, instead of sending a 3 person team that we originally agreed to (which is obviously cheaper), they send a 4 person team. More than likely, they were striving to make up for that first clean coupon that I found online, and figured I wouldn't notice. Anyway, I see the bill on the table, and was ready for it to be a bit more than expected, since the maids mentioned they went about 10 minutes over an hour. No problem. Well, bill was for 240 dollars, minus my 50 dollar coupon, plus tax, bringing it to 205... which is outrageous. After all, we chatted about $135/hr minus my coupon... I'm thinking $100 bucks tops, especially since they didn't even "deep clean" the apartment. Nope, 205, for a half effort job... So, as any reasonable customer does, I politely call and let them know that, "Hey, quite a few spots were missed, specifically dusting." The kind woman on the phone acknowledges that dusting was supposed to be quite thorough based on our original conversation and apologized. No problem. So now what? She mentions that they would adjust the pricing to what we originally agreed to, as they should, for sending out the wrong size team and that they can resend the maids out to clean the spots they missed, which was everywhere. Great. And then you know what she says... That her manager was all of a sudden giving me two options... I either pay the amount WE ORIGINALLY AGREED TO and NOT receive the re-clean, OR, I pay the amount we DID NOT agree to and then they would send out the team to reclean. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Here's an idea: How about when you offer a service, you do exactly what you claim? How about taking that saying, "If you want something done right, do it yourself" and absolutely demolishing it? I couldn't have been more disappointed in not only the lack of cleaning they provided, because it was actually more than dusting, that was just my big pet peeve, but the overall business decision they made on how to handle the situation. Regardless, figured I would share this and encourage folks who may or may not have the same experience I did, to look somewhere else. There's so many services out there, and if this one refuses to do the job right, unless they're able to con an extra $100.00 out of you, then forget about them.

The ladies were very thorough and detail oriented with the whole cleaning process. They were friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again.

They are coming next Tuesday. I have them every third Tuesday of every month. Every month it?s $160. I will use them every month. You can get them weekly, bi-monthly or monthly. I do them monthly. My husband has been in and out of the hospital a lot this past year. So, when he was in the hospital I just had to call them up and tell them, ?you can?t come because I?m not home.? They are very good about it. Normally, I think if you had another company like that, you would kind of lose your spot, but they have always held my spot for me. If I had to change to a different week or time, they do that. 

There are four girls that come and each one has their specialty, like the girl that does the kitchen cleans the stove, inside the microwave, wipes down the cupboards and tile. The bathroom, they completely scrub the floors and the same in the kitchen, and dust everything. If I ask them to do something special, they will do it. Like make sure in my bedroom that you dust behind the bed all the time and the baseboards and because of allergies and stuff. They are very good about doing anything I ask them. They do excellent work for me. 

They are consistent, they clean what they say they are going to clean but sometimes I do have to say remind them clean this, clean that you know that type of stuff so that's why we give them a overall B.

Initially, I was quoted a price of $126/per hour for a team of three (3) to clean my home with a minimum charge for two (2) hours. Four (4) workers showed up. I assumed that I would still get the same pricing as I did not request the additional person. There was miscommunication regarding the pricing which The Maids of Cleveland quickly rectified. My home is VERY small and I've had it professionally clean for the past 16 years. It typically takes two (2) workers approximately 1 hour to clean (1 1/2 hrs if it's exceptionally dirty) and I generally pay only $110. I was stumphed as to why it took 4 workers 2 1/2 hours AND a request for additional time to complete the job. With that said, my home still had dust throughout where they had missed several items - even after I walked the team lead through the house and specifcally pointed out items that needed to be addressed. They did not stay for a quality check and had left by the time I got home. Overall, they did a good job but to have 4 workers for an 1,100 sq ft. home and still miss items is somewhat unexcusable. I do not have a problem with recommending this company to others (just make sure you get the quote confirmed with a manager) as they did do a decent job. Based on what I've paid over the years for the same type of work, it just would not be advantageous for "me" to use them and pay twice the amount of what the job actually entails.

They did a slightly deeper clean so it was slightly more but it wasn't anything dramatic. It's either frequency based, up to a certain amount of time and if it goes over that amount of time, like over two hours, then there is additional fees for it.

They come in with their own supplies and equipments so you don’t have to buy anything and that is a plus. They are punctual. I have used them since May, once a month and I have reminded them of a couple of things, other than that, it has been good overall. For four people and one and a half hours of cleaning, I don’t think the price is high because I am not buying any supplies, so $212 is fine for me.

The first time we used the maids was about 2 years. The first clean was very poor and I called to complain. They missed cleaning so many obvious things like an end table which still had a layer of dust on it. They sent back the gold team to clean the next day and they did a much better job. The first clean was done by the green team. There shouldn't be a different quality of clean by different teams in the same company! Over the course of the next year we continued to use them and had average cleans each time. Over time their level of clean became inconsistent week to week. Ceiling fans were not dusted every week. We started getting soap scum build up in the shower. The build up was very visible yet was still there after they cleaned until I finally asked them to get rid of the build up. I shouldn't have to ask them to clean soap scum. I also had to ask them to remove cob webs from the chandelier. I finally got fed up with their poor level of service week to week and recently cancelled our contract with them. Interestingly when I talked to their main office to cancel and they asked why I was canceling, they had no interest in why I wasn't happy with the level of clean from their teams. I would think they would want to know as much details as possible to improve service for future customers.

I had used The Maids to clean my house for Christmas and was quite satisfied with the service and the price. The Christmas cleaning cost me $179.34 and was completed in 1 1/2 hours by Team Tanzanite, which included three maids.  I had been given estimates ahead of time, and the price was well within the estimate. Given that experience, I called them to do the same for Easter. Team Orange arrived. They took many hours longer than the previous team for the same amount of work, and the price was outrageous. Their vacuum stopped working, so I let them use mine. Our home is a small ranch, and the only cleaning other than dusting and vacuuming was in the kitchen and bathrooms. They complained that they only had three people working--but the previous team also only had three people and did an excellent job in a short period of time. 
What I couldn't believe was the  price. They always fill out the cost on a card. Mine for the April date had a price of $223. scratched out and replaced by a price of $467+ 31.52 tax for a total of $498.52!!! Nearly $500 to clean a small ranch that didn't need all that much cleaning?! I was incredulous, questioned it and was told it was because I didn't use the regular weekly service. I complained to the company and never received an answer. 
I'm giving the company "C's" --the midpoint between "A" and "F".I would give Team Tanzanite an "A" for the work they did on Christmas, but the Easter cleaning gets an "F". Or may be it's the company that deserves the "F". I won't use them again.

They were always asking if there was anything else that they could do.  They said that 4 people would come but only 3 came and then they dropped off a 4th person about 1 hour into the job.  There were times that some of the people were just standing around waiting for others to finish their work instead of helping out.

I had used The Maids once before to clean our apartment and so did not hesitate to call them again when we moved out. They did a move-out cleaning which included wiping down the insides of closets, cabinets etc and cleaning the appliances. The quality of the cleaning is excellent and they are very thorough and ask that you walk through the residence with them both before and after the cleaning. We had a team of three both times that we used The Maids and they work very efficiently, but both times we were quoted 1-1 1/2 hours for the cleaning and both times they needed to go over. They will ask you if it is all right to go over and tell you what they have left to do, but it is perhaps best to plan on an additional half-hour just so you're prepared. After all they can't know what they're dealing with until they see the place.
I found the office very responsive, kind and pleasant when I called to book and when I called with a last-minute question. They were excellent each time I talked to them, and I spoke with at least three different people. Very friendly and prompt.
Personally I find the service a little expensive but it is not at all out of line with what other services charge, and compared to other services I have used in the past, the quality is much, MUCH better!

I have used the maids of Cleveland for approximately 2 years. The girls do a good job.



|There are a few things to take into consideration if you are looking for a long term company



|1.  You may not get the same "team" each time. I had the same four girls for awhile and they were fantastic then if they have a great worker on a team they switch them to another one that may need a good leader.



|There have been a couple scheduling issues that were a pain but for the most part they will work with you to re work your schedule if need be.



|Once they get "comfortable" cleaning your home they sometimes over look things.



|Overall the girls are very nice and do a thorough job.

HOWEVER, with the reduced cleaning load, there were TWO GLARING AREAS LEFT UNCLEAN: MY KITCHEN AREAS AROUND AND ABOVE THE COUNTERS WERE NOT WIPED: THE PAINTED WALL BENEATH THE COUNTER WITH STOOLS, THE WHITE WOODWORK BENEATH THAT COUNTER AND THE SHORT WALL ADJOINING THE COUNTER AND BESIDE THE WINDOW. I DID NOT OBSERVE THE KITCHEN CAREFULLY IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE TEAM LEFT. NORMALLY, I AM PLEASED! THE CLEANING LOAD THIS TIME WAS RELATIVELY LIGHT. WHEN I COMPLETED BY BUSINESS AND TOOK A GOOD LOOK, I WAS NOT HAPPY. BECAUSE OF PAST SERVICE, I WOULD TRY THEM AGAIN. |Inadvertently, I dated the check for 9/30/13; IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 10/30/13.

We have used The Maids of Cleveland for almost a year and have been very satisfied with their work.  They do everything from scrubbing the floors, to dusting, thoroughly cleaning the kitchen appliances and bathrooms as well as vaccuming and wiping down light switch plates.  They come in and get right to work; they have a very efficient team system approach.  The ladies are professional and focused on their work and do a great job.  On one or two occasions, their schedules would run behind, but we were always notified with a courtesy phone call.

We like them. They're good.

The performance of the maids who cleaned the home was outstanding!  They were courteous (I had asked them to wear booties on their shoes and they obliged without hesitation), they had a wonderful attention to detail, accepted additional request for specific cleaning tasks, and left me with great satisfaction for the job they did. 
The interaction with the home office was quite different.  I had requested information via their website and they followed up promptly (by phone).  I was not ready at that time but asked to follow up with me in couple weeks which they did (again by phone).  After answering numerous questions I had I made the appointment.  We discussed my time needed based on square footage and received a quote.  They indicated I would be contacted the day prior and given a window.  I also requested to be called 30 minutes prior so I could meet them since I was not home.  I did not receive the day prior call.  I called the office the next morning to make sure I was still on the schedule.  A wonderful gentlemen assisted me, apologized, said there was a phone number discrepancy, but gave me the time block and he called me again as requested when they were on their way.  The maids arrived on time and as I stated earlier did a great job.
After receiving the bill I thought it was a bit high based on my previous discussion about price and the knowledge of having a $25 dollar off coupon.  I called shortly after they left.  A woman I spoke with said she would look into it and call me back.  I did not get a call.  The next morning I saw I was charged the full amount on my card so I called in.  She indicated that she did call but no one answered.  I asked her what number and she was dialing a number one digit off.  My issue was I thought they did 1 30 min cleaning, she said it was longer and the coupon was applied.  To me it seemed a bit odd that the exact price I was given by the maids (which showed not application of a $25 discount) reflected no documentation of when they came and went and her answer seemed like an easy fix on the company end to keep the final total where it was.  She was not very empathetic about the situation, a bit on the rude side, called me by the wrong name when she hung up, and really did not do anything that I would exemplify as good customer service.  At the least I thought she would ask me about my interest level in using them on a more frequent basis.  Nothing.  To be clear, based on the phenomenal cleaning the maids performed I would use the company again.  I am sure one of the offices will follow up and most likely the one with the correct number.  I will just be more diligent on noting exact time they arrive and leave because I believe the price was a bit on the high side.  I believe they have two different locations from where they contact you which is the reason for the two different customer service experiences.  Too be clear...maid service rocked and because of that it would be hard for me to look for a different company based on my experience because the cleaning was just too darn good.
Let the A's reflect the maid service and the C's to the corporate office experience

They did an above average job. They cleaned all of the areas that are visible if you're looking over the space but when I went back and began looking in greater detail I noticed a few places where they missed cobwebs (such as bookshelves) and where cabinets weren't wiped clean.
However, they were extremely friendly and were kind enough to work around me as I was pulling up carpet in the house.

No doubt, they are efficient and super thorough. If I have any complaints, all I have to do is speak up and issues are addressed. Except for one. 
You never know who is going to show up, and I have REAL ISSUES with strangers in my house every time I schedule. I HATE having to supervise & train  when a group of unknowns shows up. There is one lady who was Top-Notch and I trusted her completely. Transferred to a different route, no notice for the client base. I feel bad for the ladies who DO show up, because I know they get flack from me and surely from other customers.
I will be looking for a replacement cleaning company over the summer. This 'scramble' for employee assignments is unnecessary and upsetting.
This business model is poor, at best.
