R&R was called to check out a problem with water pressure. The service technical reviewed the situation and recommended a replace of the current water filter system. R&R acquired the replacement parts and installed the filter in a timely fashion. The final price matched the quoted price and was very reasonable.

The plumber came on time. Service the unit and charged a fair price. He was polite and professional and we were pleased with the service.

The people from R and R show up on time, fixed the problem in a very short time. The gentlemen from this company started to work on arrival and fixed the problem quickly and cleaned up the mess.

We hired Rand R to repair a water softener which was installed in the house when it was built by Rand R. After 15 years it had stopped late in 2013. Probably because a screen was broken and resin had washed out of the tank and the water became hard. Since we wanted to keep the water softener and needed to save money Rand R recommended a repair of the softener. Rand R's original estimate was for about 300$ but ended up costing about 700$. The water softener never really worked after the refurbishment of the control head and adding of resin. There were problems with air in the water lines after regeneration that Rand R could not solve. In the end the water level in the brine tank increased and Rand R was not willing to fix the problem without more charges. The work Rand R technicians did installing the bypass-valves was bad in that:
1) The water softener was moved away from the wall and ended up blocking the furnace filter.
2) Rand R told us that the installed pipes would easily connect to a new water softener - they were in fact sized for a water heater and when we installed a new water softener were totally useless and had to be thrown away.
3) The shut-off valves were installed staggered rather than next to each other.
Rand R did not do a good job and caused us much trouble and we feel we were overcharged and in the end lost 700$ because we had to start all over again buying a new water softener and pay for the installation.
