Description of Work: PURCHASED A LOVELY" 8" CLEAR GLASS TRIO VASE" THAT REMINDED US OF THREE TEST TUBES INTERTWINED EACH DESIGNED TO HOLD A FLOWER OR TWO...THE DIAMETER OF EACH WAS ABOUT AN INCH AND A HALF. AT PURCHASE WE ASKED FOR A GIFT BOX. WE WERE TOLD IT COULD BE WELL WRAPPED IN A BAG AND THERE WAS NO BOX. IT TRAVELED IN ITS WRAPPING RESTING ON A SOFT JACKET WITH NO TRAUMA TO IT. WHEN OPENED IT HAD BROKEN FROM THE STRESS OF THE CAR VIBRATION. WHEN WE REPORTED IT WE HOPED FOR ANOTHER ONE WHICH WE WOULD THEN ONLY TRANSPORT A FEW BLOCKS TO THE BIRTHDAY PERSON NEXT WEEKEND. THE OWNERS REFUSE TO REIMBURSE OR REPLACE "SINCE IT DID NOT BREAK IN THE STORE" ! WE DID NOT BREAK THIS ITEM. WE NOW KNOW IS EXTREMELY FRAGILE AND SHOULD HAVE HAD A BOX AS WE REQUESTED.
