I got the names of several companies, and The Home Corporation was the only one who called back the same day. Bonder Carthen, the owner, was who called me. I asked them to leave the estimate for me in my mailbox, and they agreed. That evening, I received my estimate and they even gave me the 10% Angie's List discount without me even having to ask for it. Theirs was by far the best price, and their ratings led me to choose them to do the work. The soffit was very close to falling off the house, and taking the gutter with it, which would have caused so much more damage. They made an appointment, weather permitting, and came out on March 28th. They worked very quietly, not disturbing anyone, and they replaced wood and made the necessary repairs. A few days passed, and I hadn't heard from them yet, or had received a bill. A friend of mine offered to stop by their office and we paid the bill. ItIt turned out that the work actually came in under the estimated cost. I highly recommend The Home Corporation! I was happy with every aspect of this experience.

Herb (owner) came personally to first look at the job.  Very nice, explained process.  Soon thereafter a guy came to measure.  Lastly, 2 man crew came to install.  Extremely professional, laid down protective covers over carpets etc.  The installers REALLY took their time and spent almost whole day doing finishing/touch up portion of the job like the caulking, flashing, aluminum.  Very nice people, windows look great.  Will likely be using again for roof and siding in next few years.  

Very courteous and professional. Showed up as promised, did a nice job with all repairs and returned phone calls promptly. I made arrangements with Bonder and he explained all options and the pros and cons of each so I could make informed decisions. I will definitely work with this company again in the future.

Called Home Corporation about 10am. Herb returned the call in about 1 hour, gave me an estimate , and said he had a crew in the area  and he would send over. Herb called back later the afternoon and said the work was completed.
Extremely satisfied and woud use them again.

Very co-operative crew!! We requested and received a 100 non smoking crew. When the crew chief expected a delay we were always kept informed. They were on time  and did very good sally clean up.

The people that did the windows for me were outstanding. I had no problems with them. They were professional and timely. I was not happy with them the second time.

Herb is a very personable, and called me continually to let me know about the work each step of the way. Because I was having a number of things done, there were logistics that needed to be worked out.  The first phase was the installation of the window, next the garage was painted to match the vinyl siding which would be installed last.  The back steps were built and installed, & looked beautiful.  The window was perfect. They painted the front porch as well as the stone trim around the basement area, The front porch needed to be repaired as well.  The carpenters did a wonderful job on the porch repair.  Once the porch was painted and dried the installation of the siding was next, the paint job on the garage was a perfect match to the siding.  The last item was the gutters and downspouts.  I am extremely pleased with the results. After everything was completed the trash that had accumulated was removed.

They always show up when they scheduled and they do a good job.  I can always reach them and they can get to us in case I need emergency service.  Their price seemed to be the cheapest compared to other companies I checked with.

I was very happy with the widows they put in.  They did a real good job on that. After a week they put in the siding and that also went well. It looks very nice. Looks like a whole new house. They just have to put the shutters up and that is only thing we are waiting for.

They are not trying to fixed the installation problem that they did. I have tried to get in touch with them on the problem but no luck. They are saying its the manufactures problems. They will not return my call. The people who installed them did not manufacture them and vice versa. They are giving me the brush off. I just need help.

Herb did some things very well, and other things not so well. I was hard to apply an overall grade. Herb was very accommodating as we reviewed different siding brands and colors. I had very particular needs, and he met them. He accommodated all my special requests with regard to the application of the siding and coil, and here again I was very particular. I am not an easy customer. I had to work hard to get the quality I desired, but, in the end, I did get it. He even built out the windows so they stand proud of the siding. In all, the siding job is one of the best I have ever seen, really, with the exception of the third-floor dormers, where the quality fell off a bit. In the end, Herb and I have an unresolved dispute. He installed a power vent in the attic but he did not create adequate venting in the soffits to allow us to use the power vent. The directions to the power vent are very specific about the amount of venting required, and Herb did not create anywhere near the amount required. He has stopped communicating with me on this issue. He doesn't return my phone calls or email. I am having to hire another contractor to take care of this work. Probably, I will have to file with the courts or the Better Business Bureau to recover the cost from Herb.

We were very happy with what we got and they did a great job. I really appreciated the personal service we received. They knew what was needed to maintain the exterior appearance of the house. The installation company that they brought was also great. Now the room is extremely comfortable.
