WE HAD NO COMPLAINTS WITH DAVE'S WORK FOR THE FIRST 4 WEEKS. THEN OUR PROJECT DROPPED IN HIS PRIORITY, & HIS QUALITY OF WORK, COMMITMENT, & RESPONSIVENESS PLUMMETED. DAVE MADE COMMITMENTS TO WORK & NEVER SHOWED OR CALLED US TO CANCEL. AFTER THE BULK OF THE PROJECT WAS FINISHED IN FEBRUARY, HIS WORKERS WERE HERE ONLY 4 TIMES UNTIL THE CITY THREATENED HIS BOND IN AUGUST. HIS POOR COMMUNICATION WAS A PROBLEM NOT ONLY WITH US BUT ALSO WITH HIS CREW, AS THEY OFTEN SHOWED UP UNPREPARED. WE HAD TO PROD DAVE TO FULLY COMPLETE HIS RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE MOST BASIC TASKS (E.G. CAULKING THE SINK), SHOWING US THAT HIS QUALITY STANDARDS ARE BELOW ACCEPTABLE. HE WAS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL & UNPLEASANT TO WORK WITH RUDE, ARGUMENTATIVE, & FULL OF EXCUSES. WE RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO SIGNS A CONTRACT WITH DAVE TO HAVE A VIDEO/AUDIO TAPE OF EVERY CONVERSATION, AS HE REMEMBERED CONVERSATIONS IN HIS OWN WAY & THEN ACCUSED US OF LYING.
