MABEL'S CHINA REPAIR

Mabel repaired a small broken ceramic angel wall hanging.  Unfortunately, instead of simply gluing it together and patching any small defects, she covered 2/3 of the piece with irregularly filled-in porcelain repair putty, then crudely painted over the colored details that were lost.  It now looks like a bad middle school art project.  To say I am very displeased with the results is an understatement.  This used to be a nostalgic inheritance from my grandmother; now I wish I had left it broken so I could remember it the way it used to be.  She way over-did this repair; I would have preferred it be glued back together with a few cracks remaining but it barely resembles the original.  Bad job.

Called to inquire about repairs for dishes and she hung up on me.  I called back thinking maybe the line got disconnected.  When she answered and I told her what I needed, she told me not to call her any more and hung up on me.

My china looks like new. She does very good work.

IT TOOK ABOUT SIX WEEKS, BUT I KNEW THAT AHEAD OF TIME, IT IS A VERY LABORIOUS PROJECT.

REASONABLE PRICE, COMPLETED QUICKLY.
